Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful to all who left kind words, wrote poems, sent cards, prayed, made cards/badges and everything else on the loss of Sammy. Our neighbors brought us this beautiful angel kitty statue.

I am thankful Sammy was able to have such good care. If I was in The Ukraine, I would not have had those extra 2 weeks to enjoy him.

And Joanie is thankful that we are having an indoor egg hunt for The Great One and Typhoid Mary. She helped me assemble everything.

And Rosie snooped helped too.

I skipped the poetry this week. Sorry.  And I ended up dropping out of the A-Z-maybe next year.

I am also thankful to my co-host Lorianne for doing the fill-ins alone the past 2 weeks.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I hope the Easter Bunny brings me ________________________.
2. My favorite part of the Easter ( or Passover) meal is _________________.
3. I’m most looking forward to _________ this weekend.
4. For me, this time of year _________.

  1. Love your babies and you as well. You are one of the kindest, most giving Cat Mama I know.

  2. I miss having kids to do Easter fun with. You’re lucky to have grandchildren! My adult kids are in no rush.

    1. They are my great nieces, but feel like grandchildren. I don’t blame your kids for not being in a rush. 🙂 XO

      1. I was always very fond of my great-aunts, so I understand that special relationship. I don’t blame my kids, either. All those birth-control lectures took root!😉

  3. Oh boy! An indoor egg hunt – your nieces are gonna LOVE that….we sure would. HAHA That kitty statue is beautiful and all those cards are so thoughtful…..the loss of Angel Sammy effected us all as we loved him as if he was part of our family.

    Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too)

  4. Sammy was such a joy and we all loved that sweetie. Happy Egg hunting gang. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  5. I agree with Carole. You are all that and more.

Love your Easter goodies. Love you and your kitties.

I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins. Thank you for co-hosting.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Ellen. Scritches all around and a big hug to you. ♥

  6. As I was working on my laptop, the images of The PO’M made me sad; I miss him in so many ways.
How do I mention it to others? Well, I don’t.
Most of us understand; we love our critters, but missing one is like a black hole in our emotions.
It must be gotten through, but it’s very painful.

  7. The egg hunt sounds like just the thing to cheer everyone up. Have a wonderful time everyone.

  8. what an awesome statue for Sammy’s garden. Hope the kids have a great time on Sunday; and I bet they would REALLLLLLLLY like a…. “pizza party 😉 ♥♥♥ hint hint 🙂
