Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

Emmy is thankful to all who have entered her giveaway. If you haven’t yet, there is still time. Click here.

I am thankful that Valentine’s Day was a wonderful day. I had my mom over for lunch then we went to see my niece and her family. After that, my hubby and I had a nice dinner including fresh picked oyster mushrooms from the kit I gave him for Christmas. There was cake and chocolate too. 🙂

Sorry, I skipped the poem this week.

Please keep Speedy the Bunny in your prayers as he recently had surgery. to visit, click here.

I am also praying for everyone in Texas right now.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.  The linky stays open until Wednesday night.

  1. I was working on the 14th, but was sent home because there were not enough residents to look after. So Hubby & I went to church!
Monday we had a quiet dinner in our fave (renovated train station) resturaunt! We managed to escape the snow…which started later that evening…we had about 8 inches and that was on top of what had already fallen during the week before.
Tuesday we spent digging out! Today we did all the errands we should have done yesterday. And our internet crashed. so we are using a borrowed ‘hot spot’.

    1. Glad you got to go to your favorite restaurant. We have been lucky with the snow, not getting as much as predicted. XO

  2. Sounds like you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. We have sent dear Speedy a huge box full of POTP as we know he must be pretty sore after his paw surgery.

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. I am glad you had a lovely Valentine’s Day. We are still on lock down here so only essential travel allowed. We had our first Covid shots yesterday so hopefully by summer we will be able to start getting out again.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Glad you were able to get your first shot. My hubby is now eligible and I can’t get through online, it keeps crashing. XO

  4. Sending hugs to Speedy and hope for a speedy recovery. And yes, those poor people in Texas need all of the prayers we can muster. Happy Thursday. xo

  5. I’m happy you had a great Valentine’s Day. We did too even though it was just the two of us and we stayed home.

I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Ellen. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥

  6. Adorable picture of Emmy and we are purring for Speedy the Bunny, as well as all those in Texas. Sounds like you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day, Ellen! I’ve been away from the computer due to the weather (we and all cats are fine) and hope to get around to at least viewing all posts I missed today. XO

  9. Our area has had very high covid numbers, so I haven’t seen a family member in person in months. And I am unlikely to be able to get an appointment for a vaccine shot for months yet. *sigh*
