Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop . Today I am thankful to be celebrating 27 years of marriage to my wonderful hubby.

We are also joining   Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt..

Glad we found this bench to sit on.
I thought we would have to play on the lawn.
I would have no trouble getting down,
but standing back up may cause me to frown.

  4. Happy anniversary! My human is always a little envious of people who married the right person when they were young. The guys she was involved with in her teens and 20s were all Mr. Wrongs and it is a good thing she DIDN’T marry them! In fact, all the guys she has been involved with have all been wrong, or she’d be married now, LOL! The last one was nice, just wrong for her. She still thinks it will happen for her, though.

  19. LOL, I resemble that poem! And congratulations of 27 years!! That is quite a milestone. Entrepreneur and I celebrated 39 years this past July.

  40. I’m sorry I’m late, but I want to wish you a very happy anniversary! I hope your day was wonderful. I bet the kitties helped you celebrate. And, as always, your poem is fantastic! Sometimes I already find myself wishing I hadn’t sat on the floor, because getting up is certainly not as easy as when I was a little kid. Purrs!
