Hi everyone! Today is N day for the A-Z Blogging Challenge. Many of you probably remember Norton the Cat, but for those of you that were probably in grade school or not even born when Norton was traveling with this human, I thought he was worth telling you about.
His owner, Peter Gethers, wrote 3 books about Norton, the Scottish Fold and their travels. The 3 books are titled: The Cat Who Went to Paris, A Cat Abroad: The Further Adventures of Norton, the Cat Who Went to Parisand his Human and The Cat Who’ll Live Forever. You can get all 3 in one 689 page book called The Norton Trilogy on Amazon.
Spooky wouldn’t eat anything today. I got him to lick tuna juice and that was it despite a new anti nausea pill ( cerenia). He also had a B-12 shot and fluids. If Phoebe doesn’t post tomorrow, you will know why. Thank you again for the purrs and prayers.
Lucy has also agreed to pose with my choice: I came across this little gem at the book sale. It is a children’s book, but I think it can be for anyone who has lost a cat. This week has been especially sad at The Cat Blogosphere as many blogging cats have gone to the Rainbow Bridge. I cringe every time I see another one listed because I know it is only a matter of time until one of ours passes ( kitty lives are way too short). My heart goes out to all who lost their precious kitties this week.
And now for the contest: I am sharing my goodies from the booksale on Monday:All you need to do is comment today, tomorrow or Sunday and you will be entered to win these 3 books and this cute sign. The books are used ( from the booksale) and the sign is new from Petco. Some people may find it odd that these are used, but I am a believer in recycling.
Enjoy your day!
