Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I want to thank you all for the comforting words and prayers you left for me for the loss of Tallulah. Thank you to all who featured her on your blogs too. I also want to thank Ann of Zoolatry for the beautiful graphic.
And thanks for Pipo’s Mom for the 2 wonderful cards she made.
St Francis said, “Come little one, there is nothing more I can do for you here, don’t be afraid”.
St Francis gently picked up Tallulah and carried her into the kingdom of heaven, and when the little cat looked around, she realized everything St Francis told her on her journey was true….heaven was beautiful beyond what mere words could express.
Tallulah saw there was no pain, suffering, fear, sickness, hunger, thirst or sorrow, until she looked down and saw the family and friends she had left behind, and for a very brief moment, the little cat too, was filled with sorrow.
Then St Francis bestowed Tallulah with a set of gossamer wings and said, “Use them to return to your family, when their need is the greatest, as nothing can separate your bond of love. Hold each other in your hearts and your memories, until you are reunited again at heaven’s door.”
And when the little cat tried on her wings, she knew nothing was impossible…… when there is….love ❤️
I apologize if I forgot anyone. Please let me know if I did. I am truly blessed to have so my caring people in my life.
And we are thankful to Teddy’s mom who comes up with the best photo prompts for Sammy’s Poetry Day . Here is my poem based on this photo:
Ice cream, chocolate and whipped cream
I must be having a dream.
What do you mean it isn’t good for me
can’t you see the bananas and strawberry?
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and our co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two. Thank you Lorianne for running the hop without me last week, you are an excellent co-host.
I want to thank you all for the words of comfort, emails, cards and prayers on the loss of Phoebe. I am truly blessed. I also want to thank The Cat on My Head for dedicating Sunday Selfies to Phoebe. I am sharing the beautiful badges many of you have made. I apologize if I forget anyone, if I do, please let me know.

Hi everyone. As you know, it has been a sad week. I did see Grammie though, she watched us while Mom and Dad delivered Stinky to the vet for cremation. I don’t understand why Stinky isn’t here anymore and I kept looking for her. I love my Grammie very much and I am glad she was here and I will see her today too.
We have gotten some more beautiful graphics in memory of Stinky. We are very thankful for all your love and support.
I am going to have a giveaway on Sunday so make sure you visit. And we want to give a shout out to Timmy the Tomcat for outbidding Mom on that auction she posted yesterday- that is a very good thing in this case. Thank you!
Hi everyone, I am too sad to write much today. Thank you all for the purrs and prayers for Lucy. The prednisone seemed to help because Lucy was hungry Wednesday morning, but then she wasn’t at night. We are hopeful that when she gets another dose in the morning, she will be hungry again.
My Grammie came to see Lucy and all of us. I love my Grammie so very much and I love Lucy very much too.
How well do you really know the people in your life?
Annabel O’Conner has the perfect husband, two adorable children, an amazing job, and the mother from hell! Annabel doesn’t like it but has come to terms with the fact that her relationship with her mother, Bea, deteriorated to the point of forced and strained communications. However, an unscheduled call from Bea turns her world around and makes Annabel question everything she believed about her life.
Despite the fact secrets, lies, and misplaced blame have destroyed the women’s relationship; Annabel reluctantly agrees to help Bea plan her wedding. Little does Annabel know the impact of her decision.
In this Women’s Contemporary Fiction novel, Hilary Grossman explores the complex relationship that exists between mothers and daughters in a light-hearted and relatable manner.
Happy Saturday everyone!!! Today is our one year Blogoversary!!! Thank you all for reading the blog and being our friend. I am proud to be part of such a wonderful group of caring people. I am kicking myself for not starting a blog years ago, but I am glad I finally did and now have so many cat loving friends. I am having a big giveaway to thank you all, I have 12 crocheted toys and a catnip mat. The lucky winner will have a toy for every month of the year and the mat. Just comment today and/or tomorrow to enter. I will announce the winner on Monday.
We are hopping – I am using one photo for Athena’s Caturday and The Lazy Pit Bull’s 52 Snapshots. The theme this week is “Sky” so I found a sky photo for free on publicdomainpictures.net where you can have 5 free images a day. Then I put a photo of Lucy in using Lunapic. I hoped to find diamond stickers, but I couldn’t find any so I made my own- I know it looks like a child did it 🙂 This is my Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Sammy and Joanie want to thank everyone who came to their party- they had so much fun and feel so loved with so many friends. The winner of the nip mat and crocheted toys is: Marshwood Cottage- Congratulations!
They are especially proud of this card from Sammy of One Spoiled Cat:Thank you Sammy. And Raz’s Rumblers from Cat Scouts had a party for him too: He was late for that party because his Mom is a dummy and couldn’t find the Den- sorry fellow Rumblers. They even made him a cake: What a great group, I am so glad I let him join. Now on to the ROAR of the week:
This week’s ROAR is for a fellow blogger, you probably already know about this, but just in case someone missed it.
Lexi and Dezi of Dezizworld along with their mom have been having a tough year. The apartment they live in was flooded by a broken pipe which caused lots of damages. Their poor Mom has had to fight to get everything repaired which should have been a given after what happened. Things are finally heading in the right direction so it would be nice if Lexi could get some steps as she is 15 and has trouble climbing up on the bed. Their Mom also needs a new chair as that is something that won’t get replaced by her landlord. I made a small donation and if everyone does, she will be sitting pretty- pardon the pun, I couldn’t resist. Here is the link to donate: http://www.youcaring.com/other/righting-a-wrong-help-audra-and-her-two-service-cats/238448
One more thing-for the month of October, we will be showing a photo of one of our kitties costumes from past years ( before we started blogging) to give you ideas for Halloween. Last year Joanie was 50 Shades of Gray:We just got a bunch of paint cards from Lowes.
