Hi everyone! I am a day late for Sabi Saturday, but here is my entry. (Sabi Saturday is a hop where you show something old, repurposed or upcycled. I wish more bloggers would join this fun hop.)

This bunk bed was mine as a child and now The Great One plays with it when she visits. My mom made the crocheted blankets back in the1970’s to go with it.

I forgot to announce the winner of Penny’s contest yesterday. There were 394 pennies in the sugar bowl . Four-Legged Furballs‘ mom guessed the closest at 339. Thank you to all who played along.

  5. Oh the bunk bed is sooooo cute and what a perfect spot for stuffies to take naps! Congratulations to the penny guesser….not always easy to figure those things out. HAPPY SUNDAY!

    Oooh, not that is a very good bit of up-cycling. I was hoping to up-cycle the palace but apparently that would involve taking it down and me being homeless for months, MOL

  8. Great selfies as usual. I don’t think I would be a good candidate to do Sabi Saturday because we have virtually nothing that would qualify. I have moved so many times these last 12 years that hardly anything from the past didn’t end up at the Salvation Army.

  12. Wow that is great that you all still have those interesting things from past family fun. Dad is a big one for re-using many things (nostalgic or terminally cheap we are not sure which) so we should give Sabi Saturday a go.

  20. Great entry. I had a stuffed Snoopy dog. As a kid I had him until he fell apart. I will have to find something antique or old. Well to next week. Great post. I still collect stuffed animals.

  21. Gremmie, just don’t take a water bath with that rubber ducky, unless you want a houseful of siblings that look exactly like you, but aren’t as nice. Tee hee hee.

  30. That is very cool that you still have crocheted blankets that your mom made. My mom crocheted a lot too so I have a few of her afghans. Sammy, Prince and Joanie look so cute!
