Sunday Selfies

Hi everyone. As you know , it has been a sad week in the blogging world.  And now another sweet kitty , Sister Precious of Brian’s World has left for The Rainbow Bridge. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

I hope you don’t mind, but this is a selfie taken last month. Mom couldn’t get her memory card to upload into the laptop. I hope she figures it out soon because we have a Chewy review to do. Plus I got a cool new bed I want to tell you about ( if you follow us on Instagram you already had a sneak peek).

I called my Grammie on Friday night, all by myself. My folks joke that I make phone calls because I take the landline off the hook when I want a snack. I have also taught Joanie this trick too. Well, I took it off the hook and hit redial and got my Grammie. I scared her a little though because she was already in bed- sorry Grammie.

Be sure to visit tomorrow. I am starting a giveaway for a copy of my book. Plus I will tell you where you can get one too.

  1. MOL! We don’t know how to use the landline here. We wouldn’t have anyone to call anyway. It’s only kept so the humans have a number to give out for when they don’t want to talk to the person. The line never gets answered.

  2. Prancie you are so funny to learn how to not only use the phone but hit redial too!!! Let’s hope you don’t accidentally call Outer Mongolia and run up a billion dollar phone bill! Tee Hee We have had a lot of loss this week among our friends…..it’s very sad but I try to think of how happy THEY are at the beautiful Bridge……………

    Love, Teddy

  3. Oh, Prancie. Is this for real? I’m impressed, but please don’t scare your grammie like that.

We dropped our land line to save money. Now I irritate loved ones by not carrying my cell phone around all the time instead of ignoring messages on the answering machine. ~grin~ I hate talking on the phone. Be well!

  4. Wow, Prancie. We are impressed that you know how to use the phone! And your selfie is awesome. 🙂

We’re very sad about Precious’ passing, too. We are purring and praying for her family.

  5. I’m sure Grammie wouldn’t mind too much, once she realised. Mrs H says we have a telephone for emergencies, but NOT the out of pizza kind, MOL What I cant figure out is where the candle goes?

  6. Prancie is one smart cat! Our cat, Amanda, which she is a very quiet and sweet kitty was on my husband’s desk and hissing at the monitor! I guess she didn’t like what was there. Sooo cute!!

  7. Prancie, I think that it’s hilarious that you called your Grammie, even if it woke her up! It’s not everyone who can say their favorite kitty gave them a ring, after all!

  8. Very nice selfie and good tricks with that phone – we are going to have to try that too.

Very sad times – so many losses in recent weeks. We were very sad to hear about Sister Precious. That poor family has lost a lot this year.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  9. Way to go Prancie. Trainin’ has to start somewhere. That’s how Shad started out too. And looki’ie what mommy did with that knowledge. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

  10. We were sad to hear about Precious too .
We have a landline, but the phones are in places we never bother to go.
We bet your Grammie did not mind that it was you 😉

  11. Prancie, that’s a pretty good trick of taking the phone off the hook. We don’t have a landline anymore since the dad-guy accidently cut the main phone wire and the mom refuses to pay money to get it fixed. Cell phones don’t have hooks unfortunately.

  12. Prancie, you are so cute! Good job on calling your grammie. Next time, call her in the daytime and maybe she’ll be so impressed, she’ll bring you even more treats.

Yes, it’s really been a sad time, and we were very saddened about Precious.

  13. Cats that make phone calls! What will you think of next, you amazing felines?

My condolences for the loss of Sister Precious.

Can’t wait to find out how to get your book!

  14. Our purrs and prayers are with Precious’s family. There are too many sad losses.

Prancie, we think this selfie is purrfect. We also think you have some serious skills, calling your Grammie. Did you call her for backup because your mom and dad didn’t give you enough treats?
