Hi everyone! Thank you all again for your words of comfort during this difficult time. I am trying to answer all comments on Facebook and here, but it may take me a while. Now Phoebe’s turn.

Today is R day in the A-Z Challenge. Rescued edited by Janiss Garza ( Summer’s human) is one of our favorite books.Rescued Most of you know all about it, but if you haven’t read it, we highly recommend it. We were big fans of Seville’s brother, Nerissa the Cat and his is one of the 12 rescue stories included in this book.

And the winner of The Oscar book is Madi – don’t worry, we will add some crocheted toys for you too Madi. Oscar

I haven’t seen my Grammie in days, she is always with her GREAT grand-daughter. I guess I am chopped liver, I better not say that or Sammy will eat me. I love my Grammie so very much, I wish she thought I was great.

Oh Phoebe I’m sure your Grammie does not think you’re chopped liver – I think she is just in love with the new baby (humans are crazy for babies!) but soon I bet she will be visiting you and bringing you some treats! We hope that all of you are less sad with each passing day about Spooky – he’s watching you from the Bridge and hoping that you will feel his love from afar.

  8. We are certain no-one thinks of you as chopped liver Phoebe so don’t be a silly – it’s just that humans think it’s only them who has a baby.

  14. Oh your Grammy does love you! I’m sure she’s busy and will see you soon. Maybe you’ll get extra treats then! We haven’t read Rescued but I guess we need to add that to our list now too.

  15. I’ve been hoping the local library will carry a copy of Janiss’s book, but it hasn’t appeared yet. I’ll keep checking! Oh Phoebe, your grammy will stop by soon to lavish love and treats on you, I’m sure of it!

  16. It is so good to be reminded of successful rescue stories. Particularly today, when a friend had just told me about some neighbors down the street (no one liked them) who were evicted and left 2 cats in the house… one died, the other is wild in the neighborhood and I’m hoping the local alligators don’t eat it. (That is an actual possibility in FL.)
    Am hoping you recover from the loss of Spooky, soon, though I know there will always be a place in your heart that misses him.

    1. I am so sad that a cat died and one is on his own. I wish those people could be prosecuted.
