Happy Monday everyone! Today is Fun and Games Day-sometimes its treat day which is what today is. First though, what you have all been waiting for- my painting from Saturday. My niece and I made a Fall scene, but I insisted on adding a kitty.
I have been saving a recipe for kitty treats from Rachel Ray Magazine for quite a few months. They are similar to the other treats I made a while ago, but these also have canned pumpkin in them. I had to open a can of pumpkin last weekend to make a pumpkin cheesecake for company so I figured it was a good time to make these too.
I thought they looked pretty tasty, like a sweet potato puff. I almost told my hubby it was an appetizer ( I am not that mean though). Unfortunately, most of my cats didn’t like them. Noel and Polar Bear couldn’t get enough of them, but they were the only 2. I think it is easier to just buy treats.

I know pumpkin is a favorite taste for a lot of kitties…..I’ve never tried it out on Sam…he’s so darn picky I wouldn’t dare! Love the Halloween costume….AND the paintings!

Yous paintings be vewy nice and da costume is weally cute. Weez luv pumpkin here. But mommy only uses it as a medicine fur us and a booty tweatment fur hers self. MOL

My human made catnip cookies for Cat World Domination Day before I came here. I am hoping she will make some kitty Christmas cookies this season!
I tried the recipe Sparkle had posted a while ago, this is similar. I hope your mom makes some Christmas cookies for your first Christmas.
We dont like “made-stuff” either. In fact, only Iza will eat “human food” and then only iffen its “just real meat”.
All my kitties except one will eat real meat.
I’m really picky too. . . but Mum says SHE would have tried one!

Yes, you should try pumpkin, I am thinking it would be better with sweet potatoes- my cats really like those.
