Nosey Rosie’s Tips 51

Hi everyone! Penny is taking the week off being that Thanksgiving is coming up. She needs her rest to hit all the Black Friday sales online.

Mom bought this elf at Hobby Lobby. She is going to tell the trash pickers Rusty and Rudy that he is watching them and will report any bad behavior to Santa.

Those boys are out of control. They are always getting into things. I even have proof.

I wish I knew which one of them pulled a chunk off of my yacht. They like to chase me and make me growl at them. I am actually looking forward to The Great One and Typhoid Mary coming over tomorrow. I have a good hiding place and they don’t. 🙂

My Dad is doing well, but he won’t be able to pick me up until right before Christmas. Do you know how much a gallon of milk weighs? It weighs 8 pounds so he can’t pick that up either. Mom has to put some in a creamer for when she is not home and he wants coffee.

Emmy’s phosphorous binder came today so hopefully that will help with her kidney values. Apparently, heart disease and kidney disease is a tough balance with med.

Do any of you get compounded meds? Emmy is on 2 that are and Mom used to get them from Wedgewood Pharmacy, but one time they were out of one so she got them from Wingate Pharmacy. Now she gets them from there all the time. They ship them out the same day by UPS none of that BS* about paying more to rush the order that Wedgewood used to do. So my tip is if you need meds compounded go to Wingate.

*I don’t know what BS means, I am just repeating what Mom said.

  1. Nosey Rosie, very comprehensive and amusing too. Continued purrs and wishes for your Dad to get better quickly. XO

  2. Rosie thanks for keeping us up to date! It’s wonderful to hear your dad and Emmy are doing well! Those two boys seem like a real handful! Maybe you and the other girls can put them in check! 🙂 <3

  3. For some reason, I have to wade through all sorts of WP stuff to get to your blog…this is a new thing and I can’t seem to fix it! Still, I did GET there and LOVE the BS comment, haha. Those kitties are in for a surprise when the Two Terrors show up and that smart kitty knows where to hide! And mama and papa have taken compounded stuff, one time only, it was melatonin and so strong that they were whacked out for a day! I’m sure your compounded things are better, and we hope so much that your mate can heal and pick up the kitties again. Loulou is 5.7 kilos, which is around 9 pounds and all I can say is that it’s better than 10!

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Mom buys Melatonin at Walmart, she uses it to help sleep sometime when she has too much coffee. XO

  4. Glad your dad is healing well. It is frustrating not to be able to lift much, but even harder to remember not to. Those two ginger terrors are into everything. That is the joy of youngsters!

  5. MOL…Rusty and Rudi sticking their head in things…MOL…like that😹Sorry they’re still chasing you, Rosie, but keep standing up for yourself, one day they found something else to chase on…hope not someone else🙈Granny says we’re still wild boys too, but we stop when Granny asked us to stop, or she walks through the house, knowing that we come behind her and forget about the wild…at least for that moment😸Healing Pawkisses for your Dad and Double Pawkisses from us to all of you🐾😽💞

  6. Well there’s never a dull moment around there but maybe that new elf will keep things under control? The kittens are into everything because that’s just what they do – it seems like there are FOUR kittens instead of TWO with them exploring everywhere and finding things to get into! They will calm down (hopefully!). Have fun with The Great One and Typhoid Mary today……

    Hugs, Teddy

  7. Thanks for sharing the family news, Rosie. Those boys sticking their head in ‘things’ – MOL. I am glad dad is feeling better.

  8. Wonderful update on what’s going on in your world. Well done, Rosie. You made me laugh out loud with the BS comment.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Rosie. Scritches all around and a hug to your mom. xo ♥

  9. Madi had a compounded RX for kidneys. I think it was the binder you mentioned.
I ordered it from Roadrunner RX in Arizona (my Vet recommended them). I was always very happy with service and they always included a toy in it for Madi.
    Hugs to you all Cecilia

  10. Charlee: “Hmm yeah that’s incontrovertibly a photo of the orange boys getting into things …”
Chaplin: “Dennis and our brother Tucker who we never met both got compounded medicine! We used to pick them up from a local compounding pharmacy but they’re out of business now.”
Charlee: “They also got compounded medicine from that Roadrunner place.”
Chaplin: “We will tell Mama and Dada to keep Wingate in mind for future compounded medications, though!”

  13. Brothers are pests until they grow up, i know. We have a couple of compounding pharmacies here locally, i like one a lot but we haven’t had to use them in a while If we do, it’s good to have options.

  14. That elf sure has a cozy spot. ~grin~ Luna was on a mail order compound med long ago. She despised that liquid, bless her sweet soul. I’m glad your mom found a good source. You have the best humans. 🙂 I think BS might stand for ‘baloney sandwich’. ;D Stay sweet, precious.

  15. We understand what you’re saying about the new guys. Our new guy, Sgt Stripes, is kind of a pain too. Glad your dad is feeling better.

  16. I’m glad to hear that dad is doing well! And the photo with the fur babies getting into “things” had me laughing! xo
