Nosey Rosie’s Tips 50

Hi everyone! Penny said she is too tired from having to dress up for Halloween so she said I have to post today.

Good thing I am always taking notes on the latest gossip.

Apparently The Great One and Typhoid Mary have a little brudder now. Great, another one I will have to hide from. He was born on Saturday morning. Mom says he is very cute.

My dad is having an operation next week to repair a hernia. And he won’t be able to pick up anything over 10 pounds for 6 weeks. That means he can’t carry me to bed like he always does. I only like how he carries me so it is going to be a tough 6 weeks for me. My tip for you is to never weigh over 10 pounds.

Mom is going shopping this morning for half priced Halloween stuff. Like she doesn’t already have enough decorations. I would rather she spend the money on treats for me us.

The terrible two are calming down a little. I am still not thrilled about them joining the family.

If you haven’t already guessed who we were for Halloween be sure to visit yesterday’s post before tonight ( Tuesday) at 9 PM ( EST).

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop

  1. Oh, Rosie, you sure hhave your notebook full!

We will pawray for your Dad, for his surgery to go well, and we hope those 6 weeks will go by quickly! Maybe he’ll let you take a nap on his lap when he’s not upstairs.
Tell your Mom to wait a while longer, sometimes the stores here price things down 75% or even more if they are still there.

Congrats on the birth of another wee one! A boy, how cool is that! He might grow up to be a fun Cat Daddy like yours:)

  2. Wow Rosie, a little brudder! That should make things very interesting! Many purrs from all of us for your Dad to have a successful procedure and a fast recovery from the surgery. Good to hear the two new kitties are starting to chillax more! XO

  3. Oh, Rosie, congrats on the new bebe…I’m sure you will find even more hiding places that’s before! Although a new baby is just like a kitten to play with, no. Just don’t pick it up behind the ears…and your papa will be fine. He probably needs the REST from schlepping you…er…sweeting carrying you to bed. Love to all.

  4. Congratulations on the new baby. Best wishes for your dad and tell him to remember no lifting. It is very easy to forget.

  5. A new baby in the family – FUN! We hope your Dad’s operation goes perfectly and you will allow your Mom the honor of carrying you to bed at night until Dad’s recovered! I don’t think your Mom could EVER EVER have “enough” Halloween stuff…..she’s the Queen of Ween !

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. You just need to take great care of dad for six weeks. Hubby had that surgery and he did very well. Prayers for your dad.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. xo ♥

  7. Chaplin: “We’re tired, too, but it’s from listening to the dogs bark at trick-or-treaters. They weren’t even at our house, but the dogs still barked at them.”
Java Bean: “Got to keep the ghosties and ghoulies away you know!”
Charlee: “I don’t know what I would do if Dada couldn’t pick me up! Fortunately I squeak in under 10 pounds. We Hipsters send lots of purrs for your Dad’s quick recovery!”
Lulu: “And we dogs send tail wags!”

  9. Hope your Dad is better soon ! Some of the Halloween stuff Mom is shopping for might be treats – but not for kitties !

  10. You sure have a lot to keep track of, Rosie, but you did a phenomenal job keep us updated on the gossip. Congratulations to the whole family on the The Great One and Typhoid Mary’s new baby brother! Are you sure you don’t want to be their friend, Rosie? Eddy says she doesn’t blame you for hiding. People can be scary, especially the little ones. Eddy also doesn’t blame you for steering clear of Rusty and Rudy, because she thinks that other kitties are also pretty bad.

We’re sending well wishes to your dad, and we hope his surgery goes well! That sure is going to be a long 6 weeks, though, for both you and him. But don’t feel bad about your weight, Rosie. You’re stunning exactly as you are. The only kitty at our house that could still be carried is Tonks, because she’s 9 lbs. Thimble is a tiny bit over 10 lbs, and everyone else is even more than that.

    Purrs and prayers!

  11. Mudpie was in the same boat when her grandpa had his pacemaker surgery! 10 pounds was a long time ago…MOL. I went shopping today for half price candy and there was nothing. I read earlier this season that the candy companies couldn’t do Halloween themed packaging AND regular packaging, so they stuck with keeping the regular packages on the shelves. They think we don’t realize that means they didn’t have to mark stuff half price today, all they had to do was move it back to the regular candy aisles!

    1. Our Walmart had a huge supply of Peanut butter cups so we stocked up. That was all they had though.

  12. Congratulations to The Great One and Typhoid Mary on their new little brother! You have had lots of practice hiding from them, so you are ready for the new little one. Maybe.

Purrs and prayers for your dad to have a successful surgery and smooth recovery.

    XO

  13. I hope the surgery goes well. Don’t forget to give your dad extra cuddles because it helps humans recover faster.

  14. So much going on! I hope all goes with dad, and it’s a speedy recovery. And congratulations to The Great One and Typhoid Mary on the new little brother. That is so sweet! xo

  15. Congratulations on the baby (although we’re not really fans of little humans). Too bad about your ride to bed, but we hope your dad has a quick recovery. Purrs, Snoops and Kommando Kitty
