Hi everyone! I was planning to do a post today, but Rosie asked me if she could post again this week because she has something important to write about. I agreed, but I figured my fans would want to see a photo of me at least. OK Rosie-your turn.
Hi everyone! The other day I was watching the news with my folks and there was a segment about another Rosie. The other Rosie is a little girl with alopecia who was bullied at school, but instead of feeling bad about not having hair she decided to help other kids like her to feel better about themselves.
She started a charity called Coming Up Rosie. They raise money to distribute smile kits to kids without hair. They are filled with art supplies to decorate something they can wear with a smile. Since 2016 they have given out 2,000 kits. To learn more, click here.
Sorry, that wasn’t really a tip, but I thought that was so sweet of a little girl to want to make others happy despite her problems.

Wow, that is so sweet of that little girl to help others with that not nice condition. Losing hair is hard to bear.
Yes, it is. XO
Oh that is a sweet story, Rosie! And I love the pictures! XO
Thank you. XO
OH, that was the most wonderful story and little Rosie is a gutsy kid. If only parents would TEACH their bullying children about the fact that bullying is from fear, and if they understood the reasons behind kids who are “different”, they might not be such little sh….ts.
AMEN!!!!
