Nosey Rosie’s Tips-11

Hi everyone! Penny said I could have a turn today because she wanted to relax. I don’t have any tips for you, but I can give you all the hot hossip from my house.

Well, you know my sister Emmy is a hoarder. Penny chased Trouble the other night and Trouble ended up spilling mom’s water and giving mom a few scratches on her leg.

I thought I was going to get a new sibling because my folks were doing a happy dance, but it was because mom managed to book appointments for her and Dad to get their first COVID vaccine this Thursday. She spent several days trying and 8 hours in an online waiting room to get them. Dad is in the age range, but mom isn’t. She can get one though because she is fat and had another condition on the list ( you need to have 2).

My new favorite youtube video is a purple snake, but he looks more like a worm. Maybe you will like it too.

  1. I’m glad your humans were able to score the shots. My human might be able to, if one of our hospitals that we visit opens up slots for the volunteers. Paws crossed!

P.S. I didn’t like the video! My human thought I’d be interested, but I wasn’t.

    1. Thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope your human can get hers soon. Sorry you didn’t like the video. XO

    1. There is something for everyone o on YouTube- they have videos for dogs. ๐Ÿ™‚ XO

  2. I am glad your mom and dad can get their Covid shots. We had ours 3 weeks ago and it was much easier for me to book online than all the waiting your mom had to go through. It only took 5 minutes to go through the questions book which vaccination centre we wanted and the time.
I don’t think your mom will be very pleased with you calling her fat!

    1. Thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚ I am glad you had no trouble getting an appointment. Mom calls herself fat all the time. XO

  3. YAY for your Mom and Dad being able to get their shots!! My Mom registered online and when she got to the place to get the shot there was no waiting. That purple snake is SCARY…..I’m not sure I’d like to “play” with him!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Iโ€™m glad your Mom and Dad were able to get an appointment. I have a while to go before I can book mine. Teddy will have to check out the purple snake.

  5. A hoarder! Really Rosie, now that was airing her laundry out here where all us cats can see it. Even if she is a hoarder. But for some reason, mom is laughing. Go figure. Concats on the appointment. Mom got turned away as you know but she managed to get another somewhere else for the 16th. SO glad you r mom and dad both are going to get it. We will make the mom’s and dad’s compare reactions. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. doing a happy happy dance for Mom. I know how trying that online waiting room can be. I told one of my friends getting vaccine appts was like herding cats and pulling hen’s teeth.

  7. I’m fat, too. So there, universe. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ve been asthmatic all my life and am diabetic now. ~sigh~ But the vaccine doesn’t interest me too much at this point. We’ll see… Best wishes to you and your family, Rosie!

    1. I am diabetic now too which is my 2nd illness qualifying me. We should start a club. ๐Ÿ™‚ XO

  8. I’m glad you both can get your first shot this Thursday.

    Sorry your mom got scratched.

That snake does look more like a worm than a snake.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. โ™ฅ

  10. Dad is 68 but our state, and county, are totally messed up. Our family doc says she is exasperated as so many really need it. Dad is ok as he is just old. Glad for your parents! That snake is odd. The sound track is not appealing but we will see if our desk jockey Toby likes it. He is napping on the printer right now

  11. Rosie thanks for keeping us up on the latest going on at home! You are always just the cutest poser for the camera! Purple is my favorite color but worms and snakes gross me out! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€ <3

  12. Congrats to your mom and dad on their vaccine appointments. Thanks for all the info about what’s happening in your house ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. First up Rosie! You look fabulishious! What a terrific shot of you! And we are happy that your folks are going to get their shot! We too got good news. Mom had a virtual appointment with her Dr as she needs refills on her prescriptions and the Dr told her that our area is expecting to vaccinate people like her at the beginning of May! She is happy because she was originally told August. We are so happy that you are getting the shot! Have a marvellously happy day!

  14. We are so happy your peeps can get their vaccines. Ours get #2 Friday. Tell Mom and Dad to be sure to drink lots of water before they go – they say it helps ward off the side effects.

That video looks like it would be a lot of fun for you kitties.

  16. wow- you family was lucky to get the vaccines! We are in out late 70’s and it took until a week ago to get our first vaccine!

  17. That is great you mom and dad can get their shots! I Know several who have shared their stories. The hubby must go to his asthma doctor because one shot is designed for asthma patients.

  18. I called over 200 times to our county vaccine appointment line yesterday, and never got through. Hoping The Hubby and I can get our vaccines at same time through the health system…he won’t go without me (big chicken!)
