Hi everyone! Looks like my peace and quiet is over starting tomorrow.

All 3 kids will be here tomorrow night for Mom’s birthday party. Maybe they won’t be as noisy with their folks here too. Then starting next week, 3 days a week with the kids. I am counting the days until school starts.

Last week, my mom had a Christmas in July party with some friends. She used Christmas plates and mugs and gave out gifts. I didn’t get a gift though. I have been thinking. I know my dad is Santa Claus and my mom is the Tooth Fairy- where does Mrs. Claus fit into that equation?

Brody had his echocardiogram last Thursday. His heart is a little larger, but the vet wasn’t too worried about it and said he can wait another year for his next echo. He is going to continue his current me and also take Plavix to prevent a clot. And his potassium was low so he needs a potassium supplement and more blood work. The bloods they took showed his kidneys as fine so not sure why the low potassium.

Mom took this photo in someone’s yard, she thought it was funny.

Brody doesn’t see the humor. Don’t worry, he is not mad, he has a resting grumpy face.

Mom put out some more Halloween stuff.

One more thing…Mom is making me ask you all a favor if you have Facebook, could you please vote for The Boy for toddler of the year- he could win scholarship money.

  4. Rosie thank you for the very detailed update about my best beau Brody I see you Brody and I’m waving at you. It sounds like Mom’s going to have a fantastic birthday party and we wish her a happy birthday. School here starts August 13th. But I don’t have to put up with any children so it’s okay with me if they go or if they don’t go.

  8. Rosie It sounds like you have a busy day with a birthday party for Mom (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM) and a house full of people. Oh dear! I would search for a quiet place while you have visitors. Scope out the joint for your favorite place to go for peace and quiet. I will keep Brody in my prayers for his health. Oh, and Mrs. Claus is the cook, cleaner, and the one who looks after everyone else. Think of your mom; she takes care of everyone else too. Be extra sweet to her today and every day.

  11. What an overall excellent update!

    I’m not sure about the Mrs. Claus thing, unless your mom is the Mrs. Claus as well. Maybe that’s why Mr. Claus married her, he knew she also had magic.

    As for the children, maybe someday you will try making peace with the 3, they are always going to be in your life, might as well accept it.

    Brody has a cute grumpy resting face and you are simply beautiful, Rosie.

    We attended a Christmas in July event on 7/25 years ago on South Bass Island in Lake Erie.
    Also visited the Cleveland location when “A Christmas Story” was filmed.

  22. Good Morning, Rosie! I am a little behind on commenting. So happy to read that Brody’s vet isn’t too worried. It sounds like it was a good echo. SSNS has an echocardiogram this morning at 9. Just a baseline test, he hasn’t ever had one. So your Mom is going to have a big birthday party today… how fun! CAKE!!!
    I don’t have Facebook but you know if I did I would be voting for The Boy!

  23. DAMN, we have never been on Facebook except for a short week in which mama tried and tried to GET OFF!!! They finally let her go after big, big hassles. But sorry not to vote for The Boy. By the way, mama is sending you instagram sites about kitties and how to get potassium and more into their diets without medication, just good food. Might help.
