Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone!  Before I do my post, we want to give our condolences to Catwoods Porch Party on the loss sweet MoonPie. To visit, click here.

I have had a quiet, kid-less week. Mom and Grammie watched The Boy at his house Tuesday and Thursday. They get to see the girls for an hour or two after school. Lola went with them on Tuesday and had a surprise book sale for the Barbie’s and other dolls.

Mom, Grammie, Typhoid Mary, The Great One and their mom all went for a session with the psychic medium lady on Saturday. Mom said the girls were happy to have messages from their Grammie Ness ( Mom’s sister). And the lady asked Mom if she had cats that passed over. She said there was a black and white one that had a lot of health problems, and she wanted to say thank you for helping her. That would have been Emmy, she was on about 8 medicines before she passed. Mom got butterfly necklaces for everyone to wear because her sister had a butterfly tattoo and her name, Vanessa means butterfly.

Don’t tell Penny, but she is headed to the vet again on Wednesday. The Apoquel doesn’t seem to be working so she probably has the autoimmune illness that will require steroids. She is going to a new vet because Mom was pretty annoyed that the vet was afraid of Penny when all she did was let out a big meow. If someone is that afraid, then they should not be a vet.

OK, that is all for this week.

And today is M for The A-Z Blogging Challenge. As you know, my theme is Halloween.

M is for moving broom, or motion activated broom.  Here is a video of ours:

  1. Rosie, thank you for remembering our little MoonPie in your post. You are looking so pretty, and it sounds like everyone is keeping very active and busy. That moving broom is so funny! XO

  2. Rosie thanks for the update about penny. We certainly hope the new vet understands that kitty cat meow is not anything to be afraid of. The book sale look like that should have been a lot of fun.

  3. Rosie, thank you for the info on Penny. A veterinarian who is afraid of cats shouldn’t be a veterinarian. Penny, I hope you feel better soon.

  4. Us kitties can make a loud meow when we aren’t happy. That Vet should find another line of work. I may tell the last straw at the vet I had been taking Katie to when Katie makes another blog.

  5. I am so sad to hear this about Penny. I hope that the new vet can make Penny feel better. It is so sweet and touching about your Mom getting butterfly necklaces for the family♥ I get a kick out of the moving broom! Well done, Rosie 🙂

  6. Hugs for Penny. Our Sasha is going to the vet on Friday (don’t tell her) but we’re expecting good news.

  7. I would be a new vet too. Good for you for not taking her back there. I hope you find a solution that works.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to Ellen. ♥

  8. Grammie and Mom had a fine time with TB,TM and TGO
I 10000% agree a vet afraid to an animal might need to consider some further training or a change of professions.

  11. Sorry for the loss of your fur-iend, Moonpie. We left a note of sympathy to her mom. And we’re also sorry to learn the meds didn’t help Penny. Here’s hoping a new, more untuned with cats vet can help her so she doesn’t have to suffer with allergies. 🤞🏼

  12. It sounds like your mom and Grammie get plenty of time with the children, which is great.

I hope the new vet works out well.
