Hi everyone!
Can you tell which one is me and which one is Ethel?
This has been a quiet week. I helped my dad with his seed orders. I wanted to be sure he remembered to get cat grass and catnip.
The boy will be here tomorrow. I might let him pet me. He got my mom good last week. She helped Grammie babysit on Thursday and he doesn’t like to take naps anymore so he ran into his parents room and locked the door. Mom saw some scissors on The Great One’s nightstand and managed to use them to turn the lock so she could get the door open. I guess terrible two is a real thing.
We have a new bed, but I rarely get a turn in it because Dusty and Friday hog it.
Mom finally got all the Christmas stuff put away. She leaves out anything with a snowman until the end of the month though.
Well, that is all for this week. I am the one on the bottom in the photo above. Did you guess correctly?
We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
The bottom one, yes, I was right, and I knew it before you told us, LOL!! You sure do have quite the similarity!
Haha about ‘TheBoy’! Time to find a key to hide nearby just in case!
I hope you get a good long turn in that new bed, Rosie.
I keep all my drummers out the whole year. To me they are more about my heritage than Christmas, though I have gotten a lot of them during the Christmas season.
Good job! It doesn’t take a key, it is an indoor one that just turns. Good idea to enjoy the drummers all year. XO
I bet you were an enormous help, Rosie! XO
I sure was. 🙂 XO
YES WE GUESSED CORRECTLY. It’s because you have a certain je ne sais quoi…that little extra whatever it is that shows in your eyes, Rosie. And can’t wait to hear how your visit with The Boy goes….heh heh.
Awww.thank you. It went well because mom and Grammie ended up going to his house because the girls had a 2 hr delay. XO
I guessed which was you, Rosie! The Boy is certainly a handful. It looks like you were very helpful choosing the seeds.
Thank you. 🙂 I am a good helper. XO
I guessed right, Rosie! I knew which one was you and what a good kitty to help Dad with his seed orders. I hope your visit with The Boy goes well.
Good job. Thank you. 🙂 XO
Dear Rosie, you and Ethel are just beautiful. We had out a couple snowmen also but I have finally taken everything down and trying to make it look more like Valentine’s is coming. Not that I expect to get a box of chocolates or anything you know.
Thank you. 🙂 I hope you get flowers or something. XO
Good Morning, Rosie! Yes, I knew which one was you. The Boy is going to be a handful/pawful. Your Mom has all kinds of skills 🙂 That is a great bed. Just hang in there, Rosie. They will move on to the next thing and you will get a chance with the bed.
Yes, he is. 🙂 Thank you. 🙂 I hope so. XO
Rosie, aren’t you the helpful one!
I sure am. 🙂
Rosie believe it or not, I still remember how I hated being made to go in and nap! I just laid there listening to the airplanes flying over…just other little things to listen to, till Mother opened the bedroom door.
You have a good memory. My mom has always been sleepy and never resisted a nap then or now. XO
That boy is a stinker!
Yes, sometimes. 🙂
Oh my goodness no clue but you are both all kinds of adorable. Good to help the staff with their chores as they are in constant need of snoopervision!! The Boy is a double challenge after having two girls.Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. 🙂 You got that right. XO
You are both so lovely it’s dazzling.
When mine began to resist naps, we started “quiet on the couch” time. I would lie on the couch on my side facing the TV and the kids would sit leaning back against me. I would put on a video movie, usually one of the old Disney movies, and we had to stay quiet on thw couch. Often they would fall asleep leaning back on me, but even if not, we had a quiet rest. They saw all the Disney classics from Snow White through The Fox and the Hound, plus many of the Disney shorts amd we got some rest.
That was a good idea. A lot of time they do fall asleep if you can get them to rest. I threatened to sing today and he laid right down. XO
That wasn’t nice of the boy!
No, it wasn’t.
Great pictures, Rosie. Nice of you to help with the seed order.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Dear Rosie,
Since The Boy can lock doors, has Your Mom thought about getting a pass key to keep The Boy from locking himself in?
Fangu,
Mr Carmel (Middle-Aged Full Orange Mancat Nephew) & The Duchess (Torbie-And-White Ladycat Niece)
Good idea, but it is an easy door to unlock.
Terrible twos are a real thing. You did make me chuckle though. Such challenges.
Love that bed, but you do have to share. I’m sure mom tells you the same thing.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to mom. ♥
Thank you. 🙂 XO

You are correct. 🙂 I got lucky and mom and Grammie went to his house because there was a 2 hr delay. XO
I knew you were below Ethel in that first photo. You’re both gorgeous. 😀 Messymimi had a great tactic, by the way. I remember my first love’s parents birthed a child twenty years after they had him (!) and she went through a period of nonstop crying to the point her voice turned hoarse. I don’t know if a proper reason became known as I broke up with him shortly thereafter. From our last communication about five years ago I understand she’s doing well as an adult, so that’s good. Be well!
Thank you. 🙂 I am a bit more gorgeous- right? 🙂 Glad the baby grew up to be good. XO
I hope the Boy is good to you, and puts you first,
Thank you. 🙂

Yay! Glad you knew who I was. I wish we could have a schedule, but Friday and Dusty already have it 12 hrs each. Xo
We got it right too, but it was just a lucky guess. Good luck to your Mom with that Boy – the twos can be quite challenging:)
Woos – Misty and Timber
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Thanks Rosie for all the updates ~ terrible twos are real for sure ~ Hope you are all cozy and safe ~ hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Thank you. 🙂 XO
I haven’t put a single Christmas item away yet MOL
Nothing wrong with that. 🙂
Sounds like hiding might be a good plan for tomorrow sweetie!
I got lucky, the girls had a 2 hr delay so mom had to go to their house.
Sounds like a busy time. Cute photos and the bed looks nice and cosy. I’m glad your Mom got the door unlocked. Great update Rosie.
Thank you. 🙂
Oona: “Oona has a hideaway bed like that on top of the armoire in the bedroom!”
Chaplin: “That hideaway bed isn’t just yours, it’s for any cat who wants to use it—”
Oona: “—IF AND ONLY IF OONA DOES NOT WANT IT! Right?”
Chaplin: *sigh* “Right.”
Charlee: “You’re pretty brave to let the boy pet you, Rosie. You won’t catch me letting any boys pet me.”
Chaplin: “Or anyone else you don’t know.”
Charlee: “It’s only prudent!”
Glad Oona shares the bed. 🙂
That’s a super cute house! It looks so cozy…I can see why it gets hogged by other kitties.
Yes, it is. 🙂
I love seed time! Makes it seem like Spring is right around the corner.
So do we. 🙂 XO
