Awww…Monday

Hi everyone. We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays .

Friday is checking out two of the books I am reading. I like to have a book with a page to read daily so for this year, my mom got me Head to Heart Mindfulness Moments for Every Day by Jennifer Madsen.

Then I got Daily Creative A Practical Guide for Staying Prolific, Brilliant and Healthy by Todd Henry from the library. Once I realized it was a page a day book, I returned it to the library and purchased one on Amazon. I highly recommend both. The first is more for appreciating the small things in life and the other is to help you spark some creativity.

Rosie will be here tomorrow with all the latest gossip.

    1. I used to get those too and then I would forget about them after a month or so. I used to get my dad the Antiques Road show calendar and have him read it to me every morning. I get a Lenten one from church most of the time. XO

  1. WONDERFUL suggestions and boy, are we going to need page-a-day inspiration to get through this new order’s shenanikans, whatever they are…can’t wait for Rosie’s dirt! She is SO funny.

    1. If they were open she would be on them just like Penny gets on my weekly town newspaper when I try to read it. XO

  2. You’re so cute and the reads sound very good too. I love to read as much as your mom does.

  4. Two great finds. Having a daily reminder of something for appreciation and creativity sounds like a good plan.

  5. Learning to see and appreciate everything in life, even the bad things from which we can learn good ways, is definitely the way to go. Both books sound great reads on a daily basis.

  6. Charlee: “Ooh, yeah, a page-a-day library book is going to accrue a lot of late fees, probably …”
Chaplin: “Friday! Our beloved brother Dennis liked to check out books, too! Although he did it with his teeth.”

  7. I like the idea of a page a day book. Thanks for the recommendations. Happy reading!
