Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! What a rough week I have had.

I had to fire Friday as my girl Friday because she made my little paw bleed. She is nice to me most of the time and then she bees mean to me.

Last Thursday was a long, long day with the girls here all day. I did a lot of hiding. When they took their lunch break from the clinic, I guarded the patients for them though.

They painted some gifts for their mother for Mother’s Day.  They did leave for a little while to go to the local fish hatchery. That sounds like fun, but can you believe that no kitties are allowed? That seems like discrimination. I guess mom gave The Great One and Typhoid Mary a plastic cup to hold the fish food in and she bought them each 50 cents worth of food. Well, Typhoid Mary poured hers all in at once and was ready to leave.

I am glad mom went to their house on Friday so we could have peace and quiet. She wanted to see The Boy and let Grammie be able to spend time with the girls. I heard they did a scavenger hunt for Earth Day and learned how to count tree rings to know the age of a tree.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Today is T day on The A-Z Blogging Challenge. As you know, mom’s theme is Christmas.  T is for train.

We all took turns sitting next to dad’s toy train this past Christmas. It had been lost for years and they found it when they cleaned out the barn.

T is also for tree. This is dad’s Star Trek tree which is in the dining room so we can’t play with the space ships.

Well, that is all for this week. See you next week.

  1. Well Rosie, that wasn’t very nice of Friday! Sorry you had a rough week, but you sure look pretty today! Sounds like the girls are learning alot. Such fun to find things we haven’t seen in awhile. Very cool Star Trek tree! I think we had a Star Trek space ship tree ornament at one time, too. XO

  2. Sorry I missed a bunch of posts…
Well, Friday deserved to be fired after that event! Hope she never does that again to any kitty…

Those children sure had some fun experiences, throwing all the food in at one time sounds like something one of our sons might have done, back in the day, LOL!!

  3. Well that was not very nice of Friday to make your paw bleed, Rosie! It sounds like the girls had a lot of fun at the fish hatchery.

  4. OMC, your house must be the most fun house in the world to live in with a Star Trek tree and that adorable toy train which is probably worth a fortune and two amazing creative people, your mom and dad who keep life full of mystery and adventure! Plus an amazing kitty who does such a good gab fest!!!

    1. Aww..you are too kind. They can’t find the key to make the train work so probably not worth much except sentimental value. XO

  5. That’s a shame about your “injury” – can you sue? You just need a good attorney for a personal injury case! Your house is very busy for sure – always. A little breather is necessary sometimes so it was nice of your Mom to take the whole crew away for a little while so you and the others can catch your breath. Take care of that paw!

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. Dear Rosie whatever got into Friday? Hope your paw is better by now. The toy train is terrific for Christmas. And that’s odd that a fish farm would not want cats, who would have thought?. Maybe next trip you’ll get to go.

  7. Aww, Rosie, I hope your little paw is better by now. I like the Star Trek tree and how cool is that toy train.

  8. Dear Rosie, I am so so sorry that Friday must have bitten your sweet paw That was not nice at ALL. I hope you can walk on it well. Yes, you were right to fire her. Maybe there is another candidate you can hire…you are a busy reporter after all. My mom has a lot of Star Trek ornaments too. We used to hang them but now we just leave them in their boxes. That’s silly. Mom should haul them out!

    1. Actually, it was a scratch. I think I will work alone. Your mom should hang them, they could be out year round. XO

  9. Good Morning, Rosie! It’s a shame you had to fire Friday. Maybe she had a cranky. If you had to have a Girl Friday maybe Trouble would do… Trouble is really no Trouble at all. I can certainly see where you needed some peace and quiet. Oh, I am a tree hugger and counting tree rings is a wonderful thing to do on Earth Day! We can always count on your Mom to do wonderful things. It isn’t Christmas without a train!
I do hope your paw is better♥

  10. So sorry that Friday got to you Rosie. I thought Friday’s were supposed to be friendly. Here’s hoping peace and quiet rule for a while. Your Mom is doing a great job with the A to Z Christmas challenge. That’s a neat tree!

    1. Yes, it would have been fun. It is more of a sci fi tree now because there is a dalek and a TARDIS on it. XO

  12. Rosie,
Ohhhh I don’t blame you for firing Friday…
I now how very squealy little girls can be with their high pitched squeals…
Glad you had some peace and quiet
    Hugs Cecilia

  13. I’m sorry for all your travails. ~hugs~ Is your paw healing well?

As for parent’s trees and trains, both are cool. How great that they found your dad’s train.

I would like to go to a fish hatchery. 🙂 You can bet I’d want to stay longer than Typhoid Mary. lol Best wishes!

  14. I’m sorry Friday was mean to you. What a shame. I hope your paw gets better soon.

Hiding from everyone is not fun when you want to go where you want to go.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Rosie. Scritches all around and a big hug to your mom. xo ♥

  15. Sometimes is good that those kind of days are over, isn’t it Rosie🙈Now back to normal, sweet girl. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞

  16. It sounds like the girls have a lot of fun with your Mom, but we think one day of your having to hide is enough. That fish place sounds like a great place – too bad you can’t go too:)

    Woos – Misty and Timber

  17. Dang, what a week you have had and I’m sorry your paw got hurt, that’s not a good TGIF at all.

  18. I have a cat tree, a tortie tree, and a Conway tree! Did you get a bandaid for your paw?

  19. We agree that the fish hatchery should allow kitties. Who likes little fishes more than cats? Purrs, Snoops and Sgt Stripes

  20. Charlee: “Uh-oh, yeah, sounds like Friday didn’t read her job description thoroughly.”
Java Bean: “Sí, your girl Friday is not supposed to make you bleed!”
Chaplin: “That train looks like it would be fun to play with.”
Lulu: “And by ‘play with’ you mean … ?”
    Chaplin: “Derail.”
Oona: “Oona is not sure how being in the kitchen would stop her from playing with Christmas ornaments but she is willing to test the theory. Dada! Put a tree in the kitchen next Christmas! OONA HAS SPOKEN!”
