Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! Can you see me down here?

I am here undercover doing a full expose.

This is our dining room which I am not allowed in because of the plants, but I think my mom has become a hoarder so I thought I would shame her by showing everyone.

She claims some stuff is Grammie’s and a lot of it is waiting to be moved into the new craft room if it ever gets painted. The painter is supposed to call at the beginning of this week to let us know when he is going to paint it.

Last week the girls had dance camp. Mom and Grammie got to go to their show last Friday. They learned a dance a day all week, so they did 5 short dances of jazz, lyrical, ballet and hip hop.

Brody went to the vet last week for his blood work. The vet said she would call if anything showed up, but otherwise she would just send it to the cardiologist. His echocardiogram is this Thursday. I will let you know about that next week. And next Wednesday is the awful day when the home vet is coming here. I really need to find a hiding spot before then.

Well, that is it for this week. Friday is glad you liked her post last week. She will post the first Tuesday of the month so I can get a week off.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

  1. My house is full of stuff that can’t go in the closets…Kind of looks like your dining room in some places, LOL! Hope the lab work is good, and the echo won’t be too hard on Brody.
Nice that the girls had a time to show off what they learned at Dance Camp.

  2. WOW……hard to find a spot to curl up for a nap when there’s so much stuff around BUT I’m sure once all the crafty stuff goes to its’ new “home” upstairs, things will look much less chaotic. Hope Brody’s echo is “blessed” by the cardiologist and that the new home vet will save your Mom from having to drive any of you to the vet anymore. She’s such a busy lady, that would be one chore she wouldn’t have to do!!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I think the home vet is a once a year thing so she will still have to bring us sometimes. XO

  3. Rosie, I looked and I didn’t see anything that should be thrown away. Especially not you. Precious says that she will be waiting anxiously to find out how Brody comes out with all of his test. She sends him lots of purrs. And of course she feels bad that the vet is coming to your house to! Lynn says the dance recital sounded like a fun thing to be at.I’m glad that the girls did so well.

  4. I helped hubby with decluttering yesterday. I’m beginning to think the clutter multiplies when I’m not looking. LOL. I hope Brody is okay, and Rosie, you’re lucky the vet is coming to you and you don’t have to go there.

  5. Yes, that craft room needs to be painted! This must be a wonderful house for the kids to visit with all the craft stuff to do. Hugs to the kitties.

  6. OH Brody, Mom and me, we never forget to purr for you. Well, I do. Mom does too in her own way. Rosie…watch out for the v-e-t!!

  7. What a nice weekly report, Rosie. Yeah my Mum’s art studio looks a bit like your dining room. She just had some extensive shelves installed and now she has to organize all her supplies. It’s always something. We hope the bloodwork results are good and the painter arrives soon to paint the craft room.
    Your fur-iend,
    Wilson 🐾

    1. You are observant. No worries, those are for “the clinic” when the kids play with the stuffed animals. XO

    1. Brody thanks you. And most of the plants are Christmas cactus and a couple spider plants- all safe. XO

  9. You’re a pro at undercover work.

Thank you for the update on Brody.

It’s hard with you have to move everything around to get painting done. We did that last year. Hard work.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the kitties and a big hug to mom. ♥

  10. It will look much better when the craft room is ready, Rosie. Sounds like Brody got good news. We will be waiting to hear from you on his echocardiogram… prayers and fingers crossed for a good one. Vet day is coming up… prayers for all of you. Well done on your gabfest, Rosie!

  11. If your mom packed up the craft room and moved it to the dining room until the craft room is painted, that’s not hoarding, it’s temporary storage. It’s still a mess to deal with when you don’t know when a worker is going to come do something.

I’m glad you’ll be getting a week off and I do hope all is well with Brody and he has all his tests as he should.

  12. Don’t shame your mom, Rosie. Stuff has to end up somewhere. Between Goodwill, other thrift shops, and Buy Nothing, I’m constantly getting rid of stuff, yet there’s always piles in the kitchen and dining room awaiting their turn out the door.

  13. I finally spotted you in the first image; you’re too cute. And I wish this house had a sunny room for plants. It’s not something I considered when house shopping in 1994. ~sigh~ The same goes for the backyard being impossible to garden; I need to get out the RoundUp but it’s been too darn hot for me to spend much time outside. Enough rambling… Heh… I hope there’s video of the dances!

    1. Thank you. 🙂 That is the one sunny room. My hubby has been using the roundup a lot. He cuts the weed and brushes the roundup on- he claims it is safe like that as long as it is not sprayed. Yes, my niece video taped them. The dance school had one FB , but it has been taken down. XO
