Hi everyone!
I think I am attached to another object by an incline plane wrapped helically around an axis.* I heard my mom on the phone, and she found a vet that makes house calls. At the end of July, the vet is coming here to see six of us- and I heard my name.
We have a new addition.
You won’t believe how my mom acquired him. She was with Grammie last week when Grammie went to sign some papers for the town board she is on. Well, there was a dumpster in the municipal building’s yard, and this guy was sticking out of it. Mom begged Grammie to stop and let her get it and she would not stop to let her dumpster dive. So, mom texted her friend and asked her to get it when she got out of work and she did. Now that is a good friend. I wouldn’t dumpster dive for anyone. She technically didn’t end up diving; her friend asked the custodian to pull it out for her.
Did you know that Shania Twain has a new song out titled, Dirty Rosie? Isn’t that mean. I may have the occasional eye booger, but I am not dirty. OK, that is all for this week.
We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
If you don’t know what Rosie is talking about above by the * then watch this video- you can fast forward to about 3 minutes 15 seconds in.

A vet who makes house calls, 😎 cool! Cute new addition, too! XO
Thank you. 🙂 XO
That will be a PERFECT arrangement for you all – having the vet come to you instead of your Mom and Dad packing you all up to take you to them! Just like Kitties Blue with their visiting vet. When you have a house full of kitties it just makes things easier. We love the dumpster rescue reindeer……No red nose so it’s not Rudolph but maybe a cousin?
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, I don’t know his name, but not Rudolph. XO
I’m so glad mom found a vet that makes house calls. Our mobile vet retired, however, she recommended another mobile vet which I will be contacting soon. That’s a cute new addition, and I’m glad you rescued him.
Thank you. 🙂 I am sure Cali will prefer that. XO
Rosie, don’t take that personally! NEVER you, beautiful girl.. Not ever.
Back when Admiral was still here we had a visiting Vet a few times. She got overwhelmed by the volume of business and stopped after a few years.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Rosie, you are never dirty. That song is not intended for you in any way. We love the new reindeer and we think it’s kind of a lucky find. We’re hoping all six of you have a good visit from the traveling doctor. Just as long as he’s not the kind of traveling doctor that’s in all the cowboy movies.
Thank you. 🙂 I hope he is not like that either. XO
A house call vet! Yay! Especially when you have several cats, makes it all easier. We have one locally. My next door neighbor has two indoor scaredy cats. The had the home vet here and one cat refused to get out from under the bed. She didn’t get her shots! 🙁
Yes, much easier, especially for the ferals. I need to cage them all before the vet arrives though. 🙂
Nice that you found a vet to make house calls. We hope you like them.
Thank you. 🙂 I hope so too.
Rosie ~ you are a sweetie and great that you have a Rudolph of your own ~ Home vets are great ~ Hugs ^_^
Thank you. 🙂 XO
House calls sound like a great idea, with much less stress.
Song writers just write, they usually don’t have one person or cat they intend when they put a name in a song. If she met you, she would tell you she did not have you in mind, I promise.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
That is great that you have found a vet to come to the house. We hope they don’t charge a huge premium to do so. Rosie, Mom knew that quote was from the Big Bang, but she couldn’t remember the context, so checked out the video! MOL! You will still be better off than being dragged to the vet office. You are looking exceptionally gorgeous today. Not much more than a regular vet. Thank you. 🙂 XO
We had a pet chiropractor visit the house, but not a vet, so Rosie, you guys are pretty special!
Am sure that you don’t think this is special, but we know that your Meowmy is pleased.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Oh, Rosie, you will never be Dirty Rosie to anyone…mean title, yes! And your mama finds the most amazing things everywhere and my mama has checked out dumpsters in her lifetime, too! You never know….
Thank you. 🙂 Glad my mom is not the only dumpster diver. 🙂 XO
What a cutie pie.
We’re going to do the same thing. There is a traveling vet and that’s what we’re going to do this year. Too hard on us and way too hard on the kitties.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to mom. ♥
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, it is a lot less stressful. xO
Oh dear what a cute DEER now happily living with you.
How wonderful of Grammie to find a vet who makes house calls
Hugs cecilia
Thank you. 🙂 Grammie didn’t find the vet, my mom did. XO
We used to have a house call Vet and it was wonderful. That’s a cute addtion to your family! Hey, no, you are not a dirty Rosie!!!
We did years ago too and during COVID they switched to just euthanasia so it is good we found another. Thank you. 🙂 XO
Wow, a vet that makes house calls. That’s great. No, Rosie – you are not dirty at all!
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Rosie, I had to look up the quote! LOL!
It’s going to be so much better having a vet coming to you and the Meowing Crew. So much easier and BETTER.
Thanks the heavens that your Mom’s friend got the custodian to save the Christmas deer. Is he a lamp or outdoor deer?
Scritches to you, Rosie. Good Gabfest!
I hope so. The deer is a blow mold that lights up. Thank you. 🙂 XO

There was a song called “Cracklin’ Rosie.” The only cracklins I knew of were the fried pork rinds. but maybe you would like them too.
My mom sings that one to me. 🙂 XO
What a cool find! And that is a good friend. Be well, sparkling clean Rosie. 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, a very good friend. XO
What a great find! I would’ve wanted to dumpster dive for that little cutie too. A house vet is a great idea for you guys 🙂
Thank you. 🙂

Charlee: “Rosie, our Dada says he recognizes that description of a simple machine and he explained it to the rest of us. Our sympathies! But at least you don’t have to get put in the crate and carried out of the house, right? Right … ?”
Chaplin: “Our Dada also says your new reindeer’s got back. We have no idea what he is talking about. Maybe it is a Beatles reference.”
Your Dad is clever. 🙂
Yay for rescuing the cute deer decoration. We’ve rescued a few cool things now and again, too. Nice to have a vet come to the house. Hopefully less trauma of when you had to travel to them. 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, it will be nice when they come- they are booked until the end of July so we have to wait a bit. XO
Great that you have the vet come to your home. So much easier for everyone. I like the decoration, so cute.
Wow, what a find. Finding that reindeer is better than Christmas in July! Nice score.
Yes, it is. Thank you. XO
