It’s Monday! What Are YOU Reading?

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday What are YOU Reading?

Friday wanted to pose with Tip of the Iceberg: My 3,000-Mile Journey Around Wild Alaska by Mark Adams. Friday also had a 3,000-mile journey, but hers was from California to Massachusetts.  This is an interesting read about the author’s retracing the route of an expedition from 1899. The chapters go back and forth between the original one and his expedition.

And Elvira clearly already read UnDistracted by Bob Goff. You know on the highway how there are bumps on the side of the road to wake you up if you doze off? Wel, the author states he wants this book to be like that for the reader- to wake us up to our true purpose in life. It is very interesting and I like his way of explaining things. He is definitely a positive thinker.

Penny should be here tomorrow.

  1. Wonderful suggestions. And I’m so glad you like the David Brooks piece. Mama is just finishing (and it’s LONG, but she loves that) Still Life, which has to be one of the best books on love and friendship ever written, not to mention the incredible love of Italy that the author clearly has.

  2. Reading? What’s that?! Seems it’s tough to find time to read these days…..but I am still SLOWLY reading a Patricia Cornwell novel. Love seeing your newest kitty acquisitions – Elvira and Friday – they are so lucky to be there!

    Hugs, Pam

  3. Two interesting books!
Am working my way through a series by a favorite author, then to start on a re-read of another favorite author, to be ready when the newest book arrives later this month.
