Identity Crisis

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays and Book Date’s It’s Monday What are YOU Reading?

Rosie attempted to pose with the digital cover to Identity Crisis by Charles Huss, but we got her reflection instead.

I don’t read a lot of fiction, but when I saw the blogger ofBad Cat Chris’s Dad had written a mystery/thriller I was eager to read it.

I was pleasantly surprised with the story of a man named Alex who agrees to help his father with an experiment only to wake up five years later looking like someone else. The story pulled me right in from the start and kept me interested and guessing all the way until the end.

If you are looking for a fun summer read, then this is the book for you. It is available for free with Amazon Kindle. Click here.

Rosie will be here with two weeks of gossip tomorrow.

  1. That’s a cute picture even if it did occur accidentally! I really enjoyed the book about Bad Cat Chris, I’ll probably like this one too! XO

    1. Thank you. 🙂 This one is totally different than that, but it is good. XO

  2. We’re going to read Charles’ book too but don’t have Kindle…..will be ordering the “paper” version! Sounds like an exciting mystery/suspense!!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  3. That is a lovely reflection Rosie, even if it wasn’t intended.

  4. Rosie a beautiful posie. Fun you got her reflection. I love mysteries, if they are not
bloody gorey and this one does not sound so. I will look for it to add to my long 100
title list I hope to read before life is over, lol. But I truly will look for it. Precious sends
her purrs to Brody. She thinks handsome gray and white mature mancat is purrfect.

    1. No blood or gore. I have a long list too. 🙂 Brody sends purrs to Precious. XO

  5. Rosie, this is a good picture of you!! I love how it caught your beautiful face!

  6. Rosie got an accidental selfie. Now that’s pretty cool! 🙂 The book sounds intriguing. Thanks for sharing. Have a boogietastic week, my furriend!

  7. Chaplin: “Whoooops, sounds like that experiment went a little bit sideways!”
Oona: “Oona approves of any book with a cat on the cover!”
Charlee: “That book doesn’t really have a cat on the cover, it—”
Oona: “OONA SEES A CAT ON THE COVER AND OONA APPROVES!!!”

  8. You’re a cutie pie, Rosie. That book sounds like a must read too.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. xo ♥

  9. I’m reading a fiction, The only Survivors, it takes place on the coast of NC…It is fun to have my mind’s eye be able to see the places they write about. I am enjoying it, which is good I was on a waiting list for about 15 weeks for my turn. LOL
    Hugs Cecilia

  10. What an adorable image. 😀 I may check out this book. My reading has been stymied by disappointing quality (but not those authored by you, sweet Ellen). Blessings, my dear.

  11. I like that shot. It’s really cool! I think that might be Rosie’s alter-ego she is gazing at. An alter-ego can get away with just about anything.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 She likes that idea, but she already can get away with anything. XO

  13. Rosie’s reflection makes a lovely photo.

The book does sound intriguing, i certainly wouldn’t want to lose 5 years and then have to get used to being someone else.
