Happy Monday

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable Valentine’s Day! Even if you don’t have a significant other, as long as you have a kitty, you have love.

This Thursday is the start of the Chinese New Year so I made some crocheted catnip fortune cookies. Here is the link to the instructions: http://www.yarnovations.com/cozy-for-chinese-new-year/ . I did it a little differently and added catnip instead of the fortune 🙂 I also did something wrong because mine look like pierogi, being that I am Polish , I guess that makes more sense than a fortune cookie. 003. On Thursday, Phoebe will be having a giveaway with these and some other fun Chinese New Year themed items.

Please visit tomorrow, the kitties will be wearing their Mardi Gras beads just for you.

  1. Pierogi, fortune cookie…any way you crochet them, the cats love ’em! Angel has her turkey leg and white ball, which Chuck decided to play with for the first time this weekend!

  2. These are so cute as pierogis! I looked at the pattern and I wonder how one stiches them so they fold over. These are cuter. 🙂

    1. That would be fun- I should use google translator and write fortines in Polish 🙂

  3. Celebrating Mardi Gras sounds really fun! And those catnip fortune cookies look very tasty regardless of their “Polish influence”!! Heehee. We will be celebrating Chinese New Year tomorrow with my husband’s family who are Chinese Canadian.
