Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two.     I frequent “my recliner for naps” more often.
    Back in my day, “we behaved, or else” in school.
    I “don’t plan far ahead” during these last few weeks of summer.
    All from Ann of Zoolatry … now in 8th decade, it’s one day at a time, but it’s all good.

    I’m starting to sort through my fall clothes to determine what to keep and what to donate.

  3. OMG, I love the little cat outfits like that. I’m not sure any of mine would go for wearing something like that, but I think they’re so cute.

    It’s crazy that we’re already in the last few weeks of summer. I guess I need to at least start thinking about the Halloween decorations.

  10. It’s very true, our teachers didn’t have to pry us off our phones or away from computer screens to get us to pay attention in class. In fact, it was a big day if the teacher brought a television to the classroom!

    3. Back in my day, we did everything possible to annoy the nuns at school.
    4. I do a HAPPY dance during these last few weeks of summer. We have to wait for fall longer here but it’s ok because living in Floridadee has taught me that patience is a virtue.

  20. 1. The older I get, the _less shocked _ I get. Especially with the general trends in society.
    2. I frequent _my site to make repairs or do return visits._ Usually, while I’m at my site, I try to compose future posts to stay ahead of the game.
    3. Back in my day, we _didn’t have to worry about being taught too much liberal stuff_ at school. The worse thing I remember in the classroom is the Darwin’s Theory.
    4. I _am mentally planning things for our fall vacation_ during these last few weeks of summer. It’ll be nice to take a complete break for a couple of weeks.

  21. I enjoyed yesterday’s poem, very cute! And I had fun watching those videos, too. The Boy is a good dancer, at least I think that is what he was doing, in his valentine pj’s, LOL!
    Joanine was so patient with her ‘dresser’!
