Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. Our trip to Build-a-Bear was money well spent. It was pricey, but worth it to see The Boy as happy as his sisters were when they went.
2. Getting the kids squishy toys was a big waste of money. They are the in thing, toys shaped like dumplings and other foods. I did give in and get the kids a few despite being a waste of money at about $10/each. Their dog ended up eating 2 so my niece had to spend over $100 for a call to poison control. Luckily, they are not poisonous so the dog pooped glitter a few times and was fine. I won’t be buying them anymore of those.
3. If I became famous, it would most likely be because . Hmmm….I don’t think I will ever be famous.
4.  A perm I had in college was the worst hairstyle I’ve ever had. I can’t believe my hubby had a beard and moustache back then.

  1. Angel Emmy is beautiful indeed! Ha, I remember when we all had those perms in college/grad school years. I think it looks cute on you, though. XO

  2. Yikes on the dog eating the squishy toys…glad it didn’t end up as a tragedy.
    Yup, perms were quite the thing. I had them too…no more!
    Emmy was such a beauty!

    1. Sending our boys to a private school for grades prek-8 was money well spent.
    2.making son #2 take musid lessons was a big waste of money. (much better spent when we ut him into gymnastics.)
    3. If I became famous, it would most likely be because (No way, will I be famous, or even well known, at least I am pretty sure of that.) (I think our pets are more famous/well known due to blogging.)
    4. A haircut my father gave me and my sister were the worst hairstyles we’ve ever had. I think I was 7 or 8…and later when I was just out of college, my hair was as long as it has ever been and I did not have any clue what to do with it other than a ponytail…not flattering at all!

  3. We are old enough now that when we look back at our photos look how different we were 20 or 30 years ago and in my case many more than that. I’ve seen crochet patterns for squishy toys that look like Giant dumplings. All I think is is by the time you use all that yarn, and have to use a whole bag of polyfill, I don’t think there’s anything worth keeping, lol.

    1. The dumplings are really popular, but they are made of plastic with some sort of oil and glitter in them. Xo

  4. That’s a sweet pic of Angel Emmy. I’ve had several hair mishaps, the worst was I went to a salon to have highlights, and they turned out to be purple. I wouldn’t let them touch my hair after that and went to another salon to have it corrected. It was a very expensive ordeal.

    2. A recent purchase of kitty toys was a big waste of money. They didn’t work as they said they would.
    3. If I became famous, it would most likely be because I did something stupid. Being famous isn’t something I’ve ever wanted.
    4. Home perms when I was a kid was the worst hairstyle I’ve ever had. I begged my mom to not do perms. She did them anyway.

  7. We remember Angel Emmy……one of many who protect and watch over you now with their Angelic presence! I remember when Build-A-Bear first started up…..everyone wanted to go and make a bear and I don’t think it was very pricey at first but I bet it is now! Love that photo of you and David – I tried to enlarge it to see it better but it just got blurry……darn!

  8. Your answer to the last fill-in reminded me of my first perm a month before we got married. The girl left the rods in too long or maybe it was the perm itself but whatever the reason the curls were super tight. It looked more like a fro. DH was fast on his feet and got me one of those home hair straightener kits which totally relaxed the curls. Getting that perm was definitely a waste of money!

    I meant to say a perm was horrible for me way back. Never wanted another. I too, as did CAAC have a fro! I was a teen and it was horrible embarrassing. Last thing I will ever ever do is have a perm. OMC.

    Perms and dye was de rigueur back in the 80’s, just like those huge shoulder pads.
    Thank goodness these styles haven’t come back!

  15. glad the dog is ok…..that had to have been 😱 scary. if they have glitter on them, some type
    of warning would be nice, since kids, especially toddlers like to “ chew stuff.” too. that’s a great photo

  16. I think you were and still are a cute couple! I made the photo big and the perm looks good on you. I had my share of perms. My Mom dragged me kicking and screaming to the lady that did her hair. I hated perms because I had short hair and it never worked AND I couldn’t swim in the summer because she didn’t want to waste her money. Angel Emmy is most certainly a beautiful girl♥ She will never be forgotten.

    1. The money we spent on hurricane impact windows was money well spent.
    2. Mulch is a big waste of money in Florida. The sun bleaches out the dark mulch in 3 months.
    3. If I became famous, it would most likely be because I am so never going to be famous and do not want to be.
    4. The hairstyle I have now was the worst hairstyle I’ve ever had. It’s like having a Brillo pad on my head as my gray hair comes in.
