Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. The best part of 2025 was my mom living with us.
2. My focus word for 2026 is declutter. I know I used that one recently, but nothing like inheriting a house filled with 56 years of stuff to make you want to get rid of things.
3. I always continue to listen to Christmas music in the days after Christmas.

4. I’ve had enough sweets these last few days to last a lifetime.

  3. Sounds as if it’s time for grapefruit and yogurt, haha. By the way, if you walk 10 minutes immediately after eating, your weight and health benefits hugely and it made keep plaque from your arteries….

  7. That’s a sweet picture of Angel Stinky. Decluttering is an ongoing project for me. I did well with my clothes, and stuff this past year, but hubby wants to keep everything or sell it.

  8. Aww, your Mom being with you. I am happy you have each other. I still miss my Mom and think of her every day. It’s been 38 years. I listen to Christmas music long after Christmas is over. Angel Stinky is a sweet flashback.

    1. The best part of 2025 was just lately when I realized 2025 was close to being over and done.
    2. My focus word for 2026 is CALM.
    3. I always feel more peaceful in the days after Christmas. I don’t think it’s happening this year though.
    4. I’ve had enough homemade noodles to last a lifetime.
    Happy Peaceful Day after Christmas… it’s my favorite day of the Christmas season… ah.

  17. I agree about listening to Christmas music for a while yet. Christmas isn’t “over” really until Epiphany, or if you are a read die-hard, until Candlemas (Feb. 2).

  25. There’s something special about the edges of boxes.
    Completely sympathize about houses full of stuff. Emptied one not-cluttered parental home, trying to control the abundance of stuff at the second parental home, and definitely making sure our home doesn’t become filled with stuff.
    The only fill-in I can think of is that I’ve heard Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer more than enough times for one lifetime.

  29. I am with you on the sweets. Usually, I can’t stop eating the cookies/candy. But this year, they’ve lost the appeal.
