Hi everyone. Thank you for the birthday wishes for Friday yesterday. I am an awful mom and forgot until I saw the comments.

She did score a catnip fishy though.

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1.When it comes to making decisions, I can usually make them quickly without overthinking it.
2. My weekly trip to the grocery store with The Great One was the highlight of my week. She likes to come with me and have me go to self checkout so she can scan all the items. Plus she enjoys picking out some treats and getting her free piece of fruit ( the grocery chain gives kids up to age 12 a piece of fruit). I used to love going to the store with my Gramma, and I feel like the kids’ grandmother.
3. I wish there were a movie studio in my local area.
4. Thanks to falling asleep reading, I now have a huge scratch on my face. Dusty was on my chest when I was reading and I dozed off, dropped the book on her, she panicked and ran across my face- ouch!

    1.When it comes to making decisions, I sometimes have to think on them for a long time…
    2. Hearing two of my favorite operas on the radio was the highlight of my week.
    3. I wish there were a Dutch store in my local area. The nearest one is well over 60 miles away…sigh…
    4. Thanks to my brother and my sons, I got quite interested in Hockey, Baseball and Football. (NHL, MLB, and college teams, (for us it’s the U of M Wolverines)

  6. Ouch! Teddy has accidentally scratched me on the arm a couple of times……hope your scratch heals quickly……Good for you being able to make a decision easily – I find it a little harder now that I’m old but I’m rarely in a situation where I HAVE to make a decision quickly (fortunately!).

  7. Happy Birthday Friday. I don’t seem to get around as well as I did. That mom of mine has many things to do! Not always fun ones. 🙂 Once, Angel Admiral did the same thing to Mom for the same reason while they were in bed. Mom feel asleep and the book landed on Admiral who had been asleep. Mom sported quite a claw cut on her face at work for awhile.

    Selling my grandfather clock was the highlight of my week
    I wish there was a jeweler I could trust in our local area

Supurr fill-ins, but we’re sorry about the reading incident and hope it heals quickly, the P.A. had similiar the other week, Pandora leapt off the sofa and nearly took the P.A.s toes with her, (Pandora’s claws are like razors). Pandora was fine, the P.A.’s toes, not so much!!! Happy Belated Birthday to Friday, we hope your day was EPIC! Angel Joanie is such a cutie in today’s flashback!!!

  10. Maybe if I had someone to go to the grocery with me it would be much more enjoyable. I find it just a terrible chore most of the time especially when they ring it up and see how much it costs, lol.

    1. I usually find it a chore. It is a lot more costly when one takes a kid with them though. 🙂 XO

    How nice they give a piece of fruit to the young kids at the store. When mine were little, they gave them a cookie, not nearly so healthy.

    1.When it comes to making decisions, I think it depends on the decision but some I really drag my feet on and others I just know right away what I/we need to do.
    2. Our plumber was the highlight of my week. Seriously, he’s a good guy and he knows plumbing!

  22. I’m an over thinker. I wish I could make decisions quicker. At night, DH will nod off in bed with his iPad and it’ll fall my head. It doesn’t hurt but does scare me, so I can relate to Dusty. Of course, I don’t run across his face. lol
