Friendly Fill-Ins Week 468

Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. You know you are in ________________ when _________________.
2. I am pleased with ___________________.

3. I wish I had the superpower of _________ so that I could _________.

4. I still have _________ from my childhood.
My answers:
1. You know you are in Wilbraham when you see several landscaping trucks on each street. I know that sounds odd, but in my town very few hire landscapers, as opposed to Wilbraham, my niece’s town, where almost everyone does.
2. I am pleased with Wegovy. I have been taking it for about 2 months and it is helping me to lose weight.

3. I wish I had the superpower of making money so that I could help a lot of cats.

4. I still have a lot of stuffed animals from my childhood.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from May 2018. Angel Joanie was saying goodbye to her traveling cow. It visited a lot of our friends but got lost somewhere along the way and never came back.

  1. The mystery of the vanishing cow!! LOL! At least you have a good remembrance of it!

When cashiers at the grocery store ask me if I found everything I needed, I tell them yes, except for the money tree, teehee!
I too have a lot of my ‘stuffies’ and dolls,. too.
    1. You know you are at my house when when you see the tall fence, makes our property look like fort knox…LOL.just kidding!
    2. I am pleased with most of my weed reducing/controlling efforts. I can’t eliminate them but I can and do reduce their numbers and it allows the real wildflowers to thrive when the competition is gone.

    3. I wish I had the superpower of healing so that I could cure everyone of the many scourges of cancer and other horrible diseases…then I would be out of a job!

    4. I still have a lot of my school papers and projects from my childhood.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I wish we had a tall fence. Healing would be a great superpower to have. XO

  2. Thanks for co-hosting Fill-Ins….we always have fun with this Hop. A lot of people in our neighborhood have extensive landscaping – not us – it’s so expensive to do but I have done a few little projects on my own. I think a lot of us hang on to a toy or stuffie we had as a child – there’s always a special memory or two attached to them that we love to recall.

    Hugs, Pam (and Teddy)

  3. Angel Joanie look cute with the traveling goat. That was a clever idea for it to travel around and it’s too bad it didn’t come back home one day. Glad to hear that the wegovy is helping.

  4. Awww on Angel Joanie. She was a beautiful kitty.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥

  5. Aww, Angel Joanie♥… she is so missed. I am sorry I missed my chance with the traveling cow. I am sorry it was lost and never came back.
It is good news to hear that you are doing well with Wegovy. We have a lot of landscapers in our neighborhood because we are old in here… Ha! … and can’t take care of tall Palms and mowing. Because of that it is noisy in here every morning but it smells so good from the mowed grass.
    My Fill-Ins…
    1. You know you are in the way when SSNS takes over the kitchen.
    2. I am pleased with the new glasses I just purchased Tuesday. Now I have to wait two weeks for them.
    3. I wish I had the superpower of teleportation… Beam me up, Scottie! I am scared to fly… just ridiculous. I love everything about aviation.
    4. I still have a very good Gal Pal from my childhood. We have been together since 2nd grade.

    1. Thanks for these great answers. New glasses are fun to get. Teleportation would be nice. And how sweet you still have your friend from 2nd grade. I have one from 4th grade I stayed close with. XO

  6. Chaplin: “Awww, Angel Joanie, your traveling cow looks very sweet. Dennis had nothing to do with its disappearance, we swear.”
    Charlee: “Can we swear that?”
Chaplin: “I am pretty sure we never saw it. And it looks kind of like a Tuxedo so we would probably remember it.”
Charlee: “Our Dada still has many of his stuffed animals from when he was little, too! They are on the shelf in his office where the dogs can’t reach them.”

  7. Terrific fill-ins. And what a sweet precious flashback. Happy Friday!

  8. ewe noe ewe R in trout towne when ewe seez a sign that reedz…noe burdz a loud ‼️🐾😺💚🦋

  9. Good for you on finding something to help with weight; I haven’t as yet. ~sigh~ Joanie was such a doll, and I like to think her cow friend discovered love in a little child’s arms. 😀 Blessings and hugs, my dear.

    1. If your insurance will cover it, I highly recommend the Wegovy. Although next month mine is switching to Zepbound, but that is supposed to be even better. That would be sweet. XO

  10. I forgot to post my fill in’s from last week so they are at one blog and the new week is at the other. What is a girl to do?! Life moves so rapidly, I can not believe half this month is gone. Love your shares of the cats. You are such a kind heart. You have some good answers. Always a pleasure. Love to you sweet friend.

I am https://annesphamily.blogspot.com and of course at My Tata’s Cottage at blogspot.com too

  11. Our stuffies got loved to death.

Angel Joanie is so beautiful, I’m sorry her cow got lost and hope it ended up in a good home.

  12. I’d like to have a superpower to make or win a lot of money. Unfortunately, you have to have a lot of it to help not only yourself but others and that’s what I would do. That’s good news the Wegovy is helping with weight loss. I’m not familiar with this product. I will look into it. A big help for me is to eat dinner early in the evening, then not have anything afterwards. This simple step reduces quite a few calories. You just don’t realize until you’re not doing it anymore. 🙂
