Friendly Fill-Ins Week 455

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. Some find ____________________ funny, but I don’t.
2. _________________ a ______________.
3. I never finished _________ because _________.
4. _________ is the last thing that made me genuinely laugh.
My answers:
1. Some find Saturday Night Live funny, but I don’t. I have never liked that mean spirited kind of humor.
2. Rescue a cat. You will never regret it.
3. I never finished reading several books because something bad happens to a cat and it upsets me too much.
4. Seeing Lola stick her head through the cat door is the last thing that made me genuinely laugh.
( The Great One was able to get this photo for me).
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from February 2021. Angel Joanie was posing with my Cupid Smurf that I have had since I was a kid.

  1. That is funny that Lola tried to use that way too small door…well, sjhe would get a whig=ff of fresh ait=r that way, LOL! Pipo and Minko knew how to use the doggy doors here, but of course they were not supposed to do that.
    1. Some find those AFVideo’s about people falling, etc funny, but I don’t. I fell on the tenth, slipping on the ice I was trying to salt, and though it might have been quite the sight to see, it certainly was not funny for me, I broke my wrist, and will be off work in a cast for a good long while…
2.Smiling at a stranger is a kind and easy thing to do.
    3. I never finished university because I frealized before it was too late that I didn’t want to pursue that path anymore, but went back to my nursing career in a different venue.
4.Watching my dogs do silly things is the last thing that made me genuinely laugh.

    1. No fresh air as this door is from the kitchen to the basement so the cats can get to the litter boxes. 🙂
Thank you for these great answers except I am sorry you got injured.Dogs are funny and so are cats. XO

  2. Oh, that Lola! And mama can’t see or read anything any longer that harms animals or even people and there seems to be moe violence in mysteries or even novels that are beautifully written but have too much sadness to handle nowadays. Love your Smurf and Joanie. HAPPY HAPPY ❤️ Day to you and your mate…you two were so darling when you met and still are.

  3. Angel Journey will be smiling at you today for valentines. I’m like you there’s books that I think look good in once I start them they’re a waste of my time. Happy Valentine’s Day

  4. I don’t like SNL either. Trying to get laughs at someone else’s expense is not to my liking. I don’t like books with sad endings, especially if there are animals involved. That is a cute picture of Lola. Happy Valentine’s Day! 💝

  8. I enjoyed SNL back when John Belushi was alive. How’s that for showing my age? lol That photo of Lola is incredible, and no doubt the photographer makes the image eve more precious. Hugs, my dear.

    1. My hubby liked it at that time too. The Great One is a great photographer. I like to take credit because I got her a camera when she was 3. XO

  9. Oops! I got so busy telling my joke about Cupid I almost forgot. Angel Joanie was perfect for posing with him and thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.

  10. Charlee: “Our Dada says your item #3 reminds him of when he watched a show on Netflix called ‘The Haunting of Hill House’.”
Chaplin: “There was this episode where one of the characters found a box of kittens and brought it back to the haunted house. Dada noped out hard and skipped ahead to the next episode, in which the kittens were nowhere to be found.”
Charlee: “According to Dada the kittens were all adopted out to good homes and nothing bad happened to them. That’s his story and he’s sticking to it.”
