Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.
1. _______________________- was the highlight of my ______________________.
2. A new book ( or movie or tv show) that I highly recommend is _______________________.
3. _________ makes me feel like a kid again.
4. If I had to sing karaoke right now, I’d choose the song _________.
My answers:
1. Introducing The Boy to The Teletubbies was the highlight of my week. When the girls outgrew them, I insisted on taking the stuffed ones home instead of their mom giving them away. Now I brought some back and pulled up some youtube videos of the show for him and he liked them.
2. A new book ( or movie or tv show) that I highly recommend is the Dexter prequel. It is not for everyone as it is bloody, but if you liked the original series, you would love this.
3. Spending time with kids makes me feel like a kid again.
4. If I had to sing karaoke right now, I’d choose the song Let it Go. I am always singing that to my mom and hubby to get them to get rid of things. No one really wants to hear me sing though.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from January 2018. Angel Joanie was busy potty training Gremmie.

We had the same answer for #2. I love the new Dexter and the casting is perfect.
Adorable pic of Angel Joanie.
It is perfect. 🙂 Thank you. 🙂 XO
1.Seeing our sons was the highlight of my/our Christmas.
2. A new book ( or movie or tv show) that I highly recommend isHmmm, I read for my good club from Church, but rarely go to movies or watch TV…so I really can’t answer this too well!.
3.PlAying outside with my dogs makes me feel like a kid again.
4. If I had to sing karaoke right now, I’d choose the song I don’t think I have ever sang with a karaoke.
Sorry my answers aren’t that good this week…I guess I am a stick in the mud…sort of!!
we sound very similar. 🙂
🙂
Thank you for these great answers. I never sang karaoke and have no plans to. 🙂 XO
Ahahaha, fun picture bof Angel Joanie and Gremmie! XO
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Oh the Teletubbies are so far away now, we liked to watch them too, especially the eldest grandson😸Yeah, kids and kitties bring out your inner child, so who said we were old😹Great answers Ellen, also the ‘Let it go’ part. Our twofeet sister, the mom of Angel Binky, sings it too, so maybe we can sing it together sometimes🙉 Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😽💞
Thank you. 🙂 That would be fun. XO
Hopefully our link will link up this week ! Sometimes it does and sometimes NOT. Anyway love the potty training photo AND also your fill-ins……especially learning that you’re introducing The Boy to the Teletubbies! We still love them!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom
Thank you. 🙂 I think they are so sweet. XO
Well, MAMA wants to hear you sing. Could you make a video, haha and what a great song. But mama lets things go easily…maybe she should teach a class. If you don’t let things go, no new things want to come in,…and that’s a fact.
Trust me, you don’t want me to sing. 🙂 That is so true- I wish I could convince my mom and hubby of that. XO
A baby boy to play with and you get to start all over on what the girls used to play with. It’ll be fun for all. I wouldn’t dare sing, I’d probably make the whole neighborhood move out and none of the houses are really very close to me, lol.
It is fun plus I am getting some boy things for my house too like a toy lawnmower and a tractor. 🙂 XO
What a sweet pic of Angel Joanie. If I had to sing karaoke, I would sing ‘Let it go’ to hubby as he collects anything and everything. Have a great weekend! Hugs!
Thank you. 🙂 My hubby and mom are the same. XO
Great fill ins and a sweet flashback.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Lovely flashback.
Some of my favorite books are so far from ‘cozy’ as they can get.
Thank you. 🙂
Good Fill-ins and sweet flashback.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
The Lady will check out Dexter. She never watched the first series but she’s always looking for good shows to watch.
SHe may want to try the original first. 🙂

3. Staying in shape makes me feel like a kid again.
4. If I had to sing karaoke right now, I’d choose the song YMCA. It’s stuck in my head and in a good way.
Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-Ins.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥
Thank you for these great answers. Very impressive career you had. And I like that song a lot too. XO
That picture is adorable!!!
Thank you. 🙂
My kids liked Teletubbies and no one wants to hear me sing, either, which is whybit would be a silly song like Sweet Violets.
Angel Joanie always took such good care of her charges. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
I like it too because they are so sweet and innocent. XO
Cute flashback and good answers.
I enjoyed reading your fill-in responses. I need to try to get back into playing along. I like your song pick! 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 I hope you can join soon. XO
Aww, cute pic of Joanie.
Thank you. 🙂
Java Bean: “Ayyy, Mama and Dada tried to watch that ‘Dexter’ show here once, but we didn’t get very far! A little too violent for Mama, apparently …”
Lulu: “They didn’t get very far with this thing called ‘House of Cards’, either, since like two minutes in the main character apparently killed a dog.”
Same here with House of Cards-that turned me off too.
You’re so awesome, Auntie Ellen. 😀 Best wishes!
Thank you. 🙂 You are too sweet. XO
