Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. I learned to always take my keys with me when going outside the hard way. When my niece was little ( she is 36 now), I went out to get the mail and she locked me out.
2. I am overdue for nothing. I am up to date on a physical, eye exam, teeth cleaning and my car had an oil change recently.
3. I used to attend weddings and parties I didn’t want to go to, but now I just say no.
4. Polish Borscht is the strangest thing I have eaten. I don’t eat many odd foods, but I think most would find this soup made with fermented oats and pickle juice strange. It is definitely an acquired taste.

    1. I learned_to pay attention to the filling up of the washing machine the hard way. The hot water valve won’t shut off so it has to Dione by us, each time we start up the machine. Or we have gallons of ha==water all over the floor…its overflowed more times that I want to admit, LOL!
    2. I am overdue for the latest Covid shot and RSV, but unless my worm makes them mandatory I will hold off..
    3. I used to clean my house on a rather strict schedule, but now I just do it whenever it needs doing.
    4. Some of my dreams are the strangest thing I come up with, bizarre even! No idea why/how my brain comes up with them…

  4. LOVE your up to date fix-its for your bod…and the car, haha. We all need our oil changed at times, haha and herding comes so naturally to your darling angel…

  7. I learned from my mom locking us out of the house with out her keys stuck with me all my life.

  8. Ellen I enjoyed your fill ins especially the Key caper. OH dear that happened to me recently
    I went into the garage for the leaf blower. Forgot to take the key out of the door.
    Slam bam thank you ma’am I was outside. Thankfully Bryan was in the train room above the garage he heard me knocking on the door to the back stairs. Now we have a key in the garage.

  12. I bet you were super worried with your niece locked inside and you locked outside! Yes to the art of saying no, Ellen. Now you have me wondering if I am missing something with the Polish Borscht… have to google. Angel Joanie herding her Furbies is adorable♥

    1. I learned some of the better ways to not get kicked by a horse the hard way.
    2. I am overdue for a Red Robin Bacon Cheeseburger.
    3. I used to be good with traveling, but now I prefer to stay close to home.
    4. Sushi is the strangest thing I have put off eating.

  15. Getting locked out is why you have a lock box with a spare key, or hide your spare at the next-door neighbor’s house (and they hide theirs at your house, so if someone finds it, they can’t use it and just figure it’s an old key).

  16. Precious Angel Joanie…how cute is that pic?! Nothing worse than getting locked out. I put a lock box on a wrought iron support so I don’t have to try climbing in through a window-I’m too old to do that anymore. 😉
