Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. 1. It would be nice to be thin for a day.
2. The older I get, the more I appreciate my family. And so many other things like good health, my hubby, owning a home, etc.
3. I like to decorate my entire home with Halloween stuff. I can’t wait. Some stores already have Halloween stuff out which makes me happy.
4. You’ll often find Rosie on my kitchen counter. She is very nosey as you all know.

    2. The older I get, the more I appreciate simple pleasures and the many blessing I have_.
    3. I like to decorate pictures and paintings from my parents homeland, and also styles like that… with plates, and other mementos…and scattered nineteen pictures of my angels.
    4. You’ll often find all kinds of clutter on my kitchen counter because our counters are small, and the cupboard space is very limited.

  4. Angel Joanie knew a good book when she pawed one! Our Friends of the Library store is now closed. I used to buy a bag of books a year for $5. Glad I have a small stack left. They really came in handy during the pandemic. Like your fill ins.

  5. It would be nice to be worry-free for a day.
    The older I get, the more I appreciate the simpler things and nature.
    I like to decorate my home like a cabin in the mountains. Btw, I love Halloween.
    You’ll often find too much clutter on my kitchen counter. There isn’t much space and we have a lot of stuff like a microwave, a toaster oven, and a coffee pot.

She was in Joanne’s a few weeks ago and couldn’t believe they already had Halloween merchandise on the shelves, as we hadn’t even had 4th of July yet.     My Fill-Ins…
    1. It would be nice to be at the Paris Olympic’s Eventing, Jumping and Dressage equestrian events for a day.
    2. The older I get, the more I appreciate the ability of saying “no” to situations and people that drag me down. Saying it nicely with kindness but still “no.”
    3. I like to decorate our windows with candles in the Fall as it starts to get darker. I have even put them out as early as mid-August.

  16. Katie would be surfing the counter but she can’t get up there now. I never really minded.

    1. It would be nice to have knee joints that are cooperative. I get by, but they are troublesome sometimes.
    2. The older I get the more I appreciate that I was allowed to get older.
    3. I like to decorate with paintings and photos I have that I find beautiful or, as in the case of Katie’s room, sweet.
    4. You’ll often find my fountain pen, a pencil-pen caddy, and a little china holder with current bills and well marked paper calendar in it on my kitchen counter.

  18. 1. It would be nice to be agile for a day. To go back to my younger years and be able to move without any restrictions.
    2. The older I get, the more I appreciate my agility in my younger years and my wonderful family.
    3. I like to decorate Christmas with red, white and gold.
    4. You’ll often find red daisy pottery on my kitchen counter.

  19. Great fill ins. We saw already Autumn things in the store…unbelievable…we haven’t had a decent Summer yet…MOL…Rosie on the counter sounds purrfect. We have the same hobby…MOL…Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😽💞

    for each seezon. de ladee who uzed ta live crozz frum cuzin boomer N daiz did that,
    and her howl o ween tree waz reel lee awesum. orange litez, pumpkinz, ghoztz, vampirez, all kindz oh neet stuff waz on it. it was a tinee tree reel lee, may bee
    onlee three feet ? 🧛‍♀️😺‼️💙

  21. They put the Halloween stuff out early so you can plan what you want and have it when the time comes, that’s my guess.

    Angel Joanie did a great job posing with the books, I hope you can get a good pile of them this year, too.

  22. We loved the fill-ins and the photo of Joanie! We thought it has been a zillion years since we did a fill-in and Nutmeg has never ever done one, so here we are!! Take it away NUTMEG (whom I am starting to like I head bonked and nose sniffed her yesterday!)
    1. It would be nice to EAT EVERYTHING I WANT for a day. (MOM TAKES ALL THE TASTY CRUNCHY STUFF I FIND ON THE GROUND OUT OF MY MOUTH).
    2. The older I get, the more I appreciate HAVING MY ADULT TEETHS GROW IN! ITS EASIER TO EAT THE CRUNCHY STUFF I FIND ON THE GROUND.
    3. I like to decorate THE LIVING ROOM with STUFFIE GUTS! THAT WHITE STUFF IS AGONIZINGLY FLUFFY.
    4. You’ll often find MY EYES on my kitchen counter. THAT WAY I WON”T MISS THE COOL PEOPLE FOOD THAT FALLS ON THE FLOOR!

  27. I am totally like you the older I get the more I appreciate my family and all of life’s blessings. We’re not promised tomorrow, so we need to seize every second of every day! As you know, I borrowed the fill-ins for my 7/15 4M post but I won’t join the linky party while I’m on a semi blogging hiatus. Thanks for hosting the great fun!
