Hi everyone! Today is my favorite day, I can blog and not have to share with my brothers and sisters. Plus tonight Downton Abbey starts a new season. I love that show!!! I started watching it a couple years ago because I thought mom said she was going to watch Downtown Tabby -it sounded like a fun show about a Tabby living in the city or something. Well, after watching it a couple times and not seeing a kitty, I discovered it is called Downton Abbey, but by then I was hooked. I just love to have a spot of catnip tea and relax and watch the show with mom. I wish Grammie would come here to watch it with us – I love her so very much.

008I took one of Mom’s earrings and made it into a necklace. I love the styles from the 1920’s- I would have been a fun flapper, Phoebe the Flapper- I like that 🙂

So far a couple boy kitties want to get to know me, but no boyfriend yet. My friend, Stunning Keisha told me to play in the field for a boyfriend, but phooey, Mom won’t let me go outside. I also hear some Cat Scouts are looking for girlfriends, but Mom won’t let me join that either -double phooey! What is a beautiful girl cat to do? I need me a boyfriend for Valentine’s Day!

  2. Have you seen the Downton Tabby spoof? We can’t recall where we’ve seen it but we think some (very talented,unlike us) artist drew them! MOL!! Mom loves it! We’re so sorry we haven’t been visiting – mom just realized tonight that your address dropped off her feedly! Grrrr.

  5. Oh we LOVE LOVE LOVE Downton Abbey here too…….tonight’s the night! They’re having an ALL DAY Downton Abbey on PBS – all of last season then the first of Season five later tonight. I think your Mom’s catnip tea bag crochet goodies are absolutely ADORABLE and what a CUTE idea!!!! Your Mommy is very clever Phoebe….you’re lucky!

  13. Hi Phoebe. I am incredibly out of the loop. I have never seen the TV show Downtown Abbey. I’m not a cat and dont have one here at home. I used to have a goldfish until the neighbors cat came to visit me one day, but I’d rather not talk about that. Your Mom makes some cool stuff for you. Tell your Mom and Dad Forris says hi. If I ever adopt a cat I hope it likes Alfred Hitchcock movies. Thats what I watch.

  16. My mom (and dad) watch Downton Abbey too. They thought last year was a little slow so they’re hoping this year has better story lines. You’re looking quite lady like in your necklace.

  26. Yes, you look lovely. Are you sure that Abby isn’t the name of the tabby on that show? We’ve never watched it. I still play with the ball you sent. It that silvervine? I love silvervine. Re: mancats. I may be able to spare a couple. Do you have any preferences?

    1. Nope, its the name of the estate everyone lives on. Yes, that was a silvervine/catnip mix. That is so sweet of you to send me a mancat, I only need one. I am like mom, I like older men and I am almost 13. I also must have a mancat that is indoor only and neutered of course 🙂

  28. We love Downton Abbey too. As we live in England we have already seen the latest season and there was a Christmas special on Christmas Day as well. It was really good! We’re sure you’ll enjoy it.

    1. England has the best tv shows between Downton and Dr. Who. There are a lot of other shows we copy and remake too. I am glad the season is going to be good.

  30. Mom did a match cat post to get us dates for Valentine’s Day in the past. It worked really well, and you might get a boyfriend out of it. Get Sammy to bring some Scout furiends home with him.     1. Phoebe doesn’t actually drink catnip tea, but I crocheted some tea bags and filled them with polyfil and catnip for her to play with 🙂
