Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop.I used Lunapic’s Psketch effect for my art. The puzzle is below.

 

And today we are celebrating Black Cat Appreciation Day. We celebrate that every day here. I have been blessed to own six black cats in my lifetime, sadly five are angels.

Trouble wanted to do something special to celebrate.

So, we are having a giveaway of black cat themed items. Due to shipping costs, I can only afford to send in the US. Anyone can enter though and if you are not from the US, you can choose someone in the US to send it to and I will email you a $10 Amazon gift card. To enter, leave a comment on this post by Monday 9 PM ( EST).

The prize includes a catnip mat, a black cat pin, several black cat stickers and a make your own blanket kit.

  1. Love the picture of Trouble! And the art for Caturday, too! I’m won’t be able to get a post up for Black Cat Appreciation Day this year, but we are celebrating with some black cats, and other cats too! All the kitties and I want to wish everyone a fun Black Cat Caturday! XO

  2. Trouble is such a sweetie!

    I have not ever had my own black cat, but the ones I met over the years that belonged to friends were fun and full of energy, and very playful!

    If I would be a lucky winner, I would donate those items to someone I know who has a black kitty…(not a blogger)…

  3. OH, Trouble looks so benign and sweet, but we love the name. And yes, black kitties ROCK. We hve a feral around here and if mama can find him, we’ll post a pic. He’s so beautiful and brings us LUCK!

  4. That is nice art. Lovely photo of Trouble too. I had two black and a tuxie who were litter mates and all grew to be big boys at 12 pounds plus. Their mother was a tiny 5 pounds tortie, but she certainly took no nonsense from them!

  5. I think we sort of knew before even arriving here that we’d see TROUBLE … a most handsome black cat fur sure! Trust he’ll receive a little extra attention to help celebrate his special day!

  8. Mom said she always had black cats…the first one named “Blackie” of course, when she was a young girl…and had them till Torties took over and now a Tuxie holds the reigns to her heart. Trouble, you are gawgeous!

  20. Black kitties are extra special! (When dad was in the hospital last winter a volunteer was delivering blankets to some of the patients. By pure coincidence she gave him a cat blanket, this exact gray/black print. It couldn’t come home with me fast enough!)

  22. Black cats are awesome. We miss ours, too. I’m glad you still have Trouble, who is really no trouble at all.

  24. It isn’t very easy to get a good photo of a black dog or cat, but Trouble always looks great.

  29. We think black kitties rock – though We might be just a tad biased (mol).
    Trixie is the furrst black J-Cat in Our Household – and she is ABSOLUTELY MEWTIFUL.
    So is Trouble.

  31. We got our first black cat, Onyx, when my daughter moved back home with the boys. She’s very sweet and the best jumper we’ve had in a while. She seems to be enjoying the extra space in her new home.
