Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays. Joanie and Gremmie are posing with two books I am currently reading.
Noodle Worship by Tiffani Thompson is a cookbook filled with easy recipes for all things noodle like mac and cheese, tetrazzini, fettuccini alfredo, etc.
And Glow in the F*cking Dark by Tara Schuster is a combination memoir /self-help book to heal your past so you can enjoy your future. You don’t need to have had a major trauma to find this useful. We all have something that haunts us that we should let go of to be happier.
We will never forget what happened on this date.
I was on my way to work that day when both planes hit. I remember watching it on tv in the Breakroom in awe at what just happened. My one coworker was stupid enough to say to my Face we are not at war just because of what happened-of course it was a young Man LOL.
May We Never Forget
That was a sad and scary day. XO
I was taking my then cats to the vet on that day. They didn’t know, so I told them and they turned on the tv they had in their break room. We live near a former base where there were A10’s, always flying overhead and practicing, but after that the whole sky was so strangely quiet.
Too bad we do not eat pasta much anymore…
Joanie looks so sweet with her Gremmie and hose books.
That must have been scary. Don’t get the book- it will be too tempting. XO
Cute picture of Joanie with the books! That was a terrifying and sad time. XO
Thank you. Yes, it was. XO

Cute pic of Joanie and Gremmie.
A terrible day! It doesn’t seem possible that it was 22 years ago.
Thank you. I can’t believe it was so long ago now. XO
Never forgotten. Never. And yes to pasta recipes but do NOT put cream in carbonara…..
Thank you for the tip. I think their recipe does call for cream. XO
Thank you for the tribute reminder this morning. It’s hard to believe it’s been 22 years since I stood in the living room watching that second plane hit that second tower. We must never forget those who perished.
Me as well. Diane Sawyer was just mindlessly talking about the first hit. And I saw as did you, the second one headed right to the tower…I said it out loud out of reflex. Horrible and terrible.
It was awful. XO
You’re welcome. XO
Sweet photo of Joanie with her pal Gremmie…….there is no way we could possibly forget 9/11 – for so very many reasons.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Thank you. As I recall, you were stranded in France. XO
One of the worst days in our Country. I saw it happen on TV and it’s burned into my mind.
Same here. XO
May we never forget. 🤍
XO
Did someone say pasta?!?!?
While the tradegy was great, in four locations, it was the first responders and the ensuing assistance by all of us that made our country stronger afterward.
Pasta- lots of it .
Great photo of Joanie. Mom remembers that day too.
Thank you. xO

A very sad time that was 22 years ago
Here’s hoping more people choose peace and acceptance

Very true.

That noodle book sounds like one I’d enjoy perusing, even if all I did was read and drool over the recipes and not make them.
Thank you, Joanie and Gremmie, for posing.
