We are joining #THEBETTYWHITECHALLENGE.
Today would have been her 100th birthday so in her memory everyone is asked to donate $5 to an animal shelter/rescue in her name. I am going to donate to PAWS in Norwalk , CT. The blog, Animal Shelter Volunteer Life features cats available for adoption there weekly.
What a nice idea. I think I’ll just cuddle with Daisy Mae my rescue cat of 15+ years.

We are donating to Fauquier County SPCA which is where Angel Sammy and I were rescued by Mom and Dad. Betty White was amazing – anyone who cares about animals so much is a special Angel.

We are joining too. We have a local neonatal cat clinic. They only rescue kittens or in danger moms who are pregnant or nursing. They have volunteers who feed the babies round the clock and have incubators and all the necessary items to care for kittens who are most at risk in shelters. They are the only rescue around here who does that. They will get my donation along with Gracie’s rescue shelter. My cats come from four different rescues and I donate to all of them throughout the year.

It’s really kind of them. We needed someone to take care of the little ones. Donating takes no effort at all. Someone has to feed them every two hours.
It’s such a nice tribute to a wonderful person. I’m donating to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. It’s where we adopted Oreo and Cookie from.

We love to donate to our favorite shelters. But Betty White and her love of animals knocked donations out of the park according to our daughter Rebekah. That is a wonderful thing. We do the food bank at the church where Rebekah and Zach were married monthly and rescues. I hope you have a wonderful new week. HUGS
