Awww…Monday

Hi everyone. Before the regular post., we want to give our condolences to John on the loss of his sweet girl, Indigo. To visit, click here.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays. Dusty is posing with the 3 books that I am currently reading.

Elements of Wit: Mastering the Art of Being Interesting by Benjamin Errett claims to have a way for anyone to be a bit more interesting. I am hoping it does.

The Irish Goodbye: Micro-Memoirs by Beth Ann Fennelly is the kind of memoir I would like to write in small stories. It makes for an easy read that way.

Ulysses S. Cat and Other Animals I Have Known by Scott Simon is a sweet book filled with stories of pets he has loved during his lifetime. Scott Simon is the host of NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday.

Rosie will be here with all the latest tomorrow.

  2. We did not know beautiful Indigo but all of us know the pain of having to say goodbye to one of our family……never easy.

  3. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of sweet, Indigo. The books sound interesting, especially The Irish Goodbye, and that’s a sweet picture of Dusty.

  4. Charlee: “Aww, we didn’t know Indigo, but we are always sad when a furry friend has to leave for the Rainbow Bridge.”
Chaplin: “We send lots of purrs their way.”
Oona: “Ulysses S. Cat? Oona believes she has heard of him. Did he not single-handedly win the Civil War? LIKE A NINJA!”

  5. So sad when they go to the bridge. Healing hugs to John.

    1. Dusty thanks you and I do too. I like to read 3 at a time, but I get confused sometime when I read 2 memoirs. Google is a pain and sometimes doesn’t let me comment. xo

  10. Very sorry to hear about the loss of Indigo. It’s always so sad to lose a beloved pet.

What a great batch of books! I LOVE Scott Simon and will definitely check that one out. The first one is quite interesting sounding . I’ll have to look at both the other books closely. Thanks for the synopsis.

  11. I’m curious to read those books now, particularly Scott Simon’s. And I also like the idea of micro-memoirs.

My condolences to Indigo’s family on their loss.
