  1. Oh Sammy. We are so sad that you had to be coned! 🙁 Azrael has to wear shirts sometimes because he has allergies too and likes to yank ALL the hair off his tummy. We hope you feel better soon and don’t have to be a conehead no more

  2. Oh Sammy I’m so sorry you have to have the cone but your allergies are working to make you pull that tummy hair out SOOOOOOOOOOO the cone! I’ve never had to wear one but they look so uncomfortable so the sooner you can stop licking, the sooner you will become coneless!

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. Aw that;s awful for the poor guy. Sure hope you find out what’s causing the allergy. I have a similar thing with my Teddy, he pulls out his fur if he gets the least bit stressed.

      1. Teddy started this habit when we brought another cat indoors. Any little thing can cause them stress. Even now he’s the only cat and I find him doing this.

  4. Poor baby. I have never had to cone a cat. I am treating my new cat Gus for a herpes eye infection and the vet asked if I wanted a cone so he wouldn’t paw it. I said no, I’ll cross that bridge when I see him pawing it. It didn’t happen so I’m good. Somehow I always feel so sorry for them. (Obviously I’m a pushover.)

  5. Allergies are awful with our furbabies. Our Little Bit got two shots each month because she was allergic to so many things. The shots worked too.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and healing scritches to Sammy. Big hug. ♥

  6. Poor little Sammy! Hope he feels better soon and won’t need the cone for long. (LOL at the nicknames though). Purrs and XO

  7. We hope it gets figured out soon. Our Angel Zoe had that problem too and it turns out she was allergic to chicken.

    1. We think he may be too because when we let him have some of our chicken it gets worse.

  8. Poor Samy – Misty commiserates with him. She will likely be Miss Coney Island by the end of the week. Hope the allergy clears up.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  9. Awww, poor boy! Spitty says he sympathizes. It’s just so…….undignified! But we hope his tummy furs get a rest!

  10. Oh no, not the cone for Sammy! Our Holly Cat had an allergy to grass. When she would lay in the grass she would lick her tummy fur till it was all gone. That was in the days before we knew better about keeping cats inside. She was supervised but she always wanted out. I hope you find out what is bothering Sammy… fingers crossed.

    1. Definitely not grass. I wonder if it is my shampoo because he sleeps in my hair. XO

  11. Charlee: “Our Dada says we should ask, ‘Coneman, what is best in life?'”
Chaplin: “I don’t think we need to ask that.”
    Charlee: “Why not?”
Chaplin: “Because I’m pretty sure the answer is ‘not to have to wear a cone’.”
