Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays .
Friday is posing with one of the books I am currently reading. Tidy Up Your Life: Rethinking How to Organize, Declutter, and Make Space for What Matters Most by Tyler Moore. I always seem to be decluttering and organizing so whenever I see a new book about it, I get it for inspiration. The author is a husband, teacher and father or 3 girls. He lives with his family in a 2-bedroom apartment in NY so he had no choice, but to pare down. I like his advice because he isn’t telling you to get rid of everything, just to really think about what you want out of life and what you need to achieve that.
Penny will be here tomorrow with some money saving tips. And The A-Z Blogging Challenge starts tomorrow so get ready for lots of Halloween stuff. The Boy’s birthday is 2 days before Halloween and he loves all things Halloween. He is always saying he wants to watch something spooky on tv. And he calls my tin knight on the porch spooky. One day, he was pointing out there saying spooky and I thought he was seeing the ghost of our angel, Spooky.
Handsome Friday cat! And interesting book! LOL, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to really declutter … Some objects do stir memories, though, that’s always 😎 cool. XO
Thank you. 🙂 I like to keep stuff that evokes nice memories. XO
That author would have a fit in our house, LOL! I keep way too much, and hubby is even worse IMHO…!
That was cute about Spooky/spooky!
My hubby is the hoarder here too. 🙂 XO
Your mama reads the most wonderful books! She is an activist in the highest sense of the word. Mama makes space for papa anywhere, anytime, haha.
Awww..thank you. You are too kind. XO
I do keep most things decluttered but Ivor is a nightmare for saving everything.
Same here with my hubby. Xo
I hope you find excellent inspiration with the new book. Getting rid of stuff is frustrating and such a daunting task. I definitely need to more decluttering around the house.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
It takes a lot for a person to get reorganized and decluttered doesn’t it. I like the cover of the book, and hopefully on the inside there’s some good guidelines. I just try to keep after things a little everyday. Even that is hard I think. Friday looks beautiful.
It sure does. It is an ongoing project. XO
That sounds like an interesting book. I am always trying to declutter but it’s hard for hubby to let things go.
Same here- my hubby. XO
We should rent a dumpster/skip, and just toss out stuff; this house is so very big, and we have plenty of room to stuff!
A dumpster is very motivating- we have done that. 🙂 XO
I don’t read so much anymore. Maybe I should start to nighet?
Never too late. 🙂
I do often judge books by their covers and this has a most vibrant and inviting cover. Hugs Cecilia
Yes, it does. XO
Cute photo Friday! Sounds like a good book. I like reading about or watching videos on decluttering because it gets me motivated.
Thank you. 🙂 Same here. XO
Oh Friday ~ you are so handsome and smart ~ great book and photo ~ hugs,

Thank you. 🙂 XO
Oooh, I’ll have to check out that book! Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome. 🙂
Chaplin: “Hmm, does tidying up your life include getting rid of cobwebs? Because if so, I have to prevent Mama and Dada from doing it.”
This is about organizing, not cleaning so they are safe. 🙂 XO
Decluttering is a hard thing to do. We do it early and it works very well. It’s a never ending chore.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to mom. ♥
I agree that it is a never ending chore. XO
I will say that if I get rid of all the clutter…the house will be bare!
Well, you don’t want the house to be bare. XO
I do try to stay on top of our clutter but the kitchen is is busting out!
Friday, good work!
Looking forward to the A to Z Challenge and Penny’s Tips 🙂
It is a constant battle to keep clutter out. Thank you. 🙂 XO
We try to declutter all the time, but Granny can’t let go…MOL…It could very well be that the little one saw angel Spooky, they are very receptive🪄Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞
Thank you. 🙂 I would like to think he did. XO
Great pic of Friday. That book looks really good. I’ll have to check it out. I could use some help organizing.
Thank you. 🙂
My husband shocked me by saying he’d like to donate some books (!) when he’s put up a fuss over just about every item I’ve ever given up. His obsolete college textbooks almost sent *me* to the curb many years ago. LOL Meanwhile, last week I took a bag of my own to the YMCA book donation bin. I look forward to your A-Z posts. Hugs, my dear.
Glad your hubby is cooperating. 🙂 Kuddos to you on decluttering some books. XO
That sounds like a very useful book!
It is. 🙂
You look beautiful and very tidy sweet Friday!
Thank you. 🙂
Friday (on a Monday) is beautiful and the book sounds interesting.
Thank you. 🙂
