Awww…Monday

Hi everyone. Before we get started, we want to give our condolences to the family of Bad Cat Chris. To visit, click here.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays .

Dusty is posing with the books I am reading. I just finished Nothing is Missing: A Memoir of Living Boldly by Nicole Walters.

It was part memoir and part self-help/motivational. I don’t think it helped me, but I enjoyed reading her story. She had a tough childhood and rose above it.  One day she saw a lady panhandling with a little girl, and she ended up giving them a ride to a sandwich place. After that, she kept bringing food over and helping with the kids and eventually ended up raising the three girls. That was really going above and beyond.

I just started The Andy Warhol Diaries and being that it is over 800 pages, it is going to take me a while to read. I recently read The Andy Cohen Diaries and in it, he kept referring to Andy Warhol’s. I find it fun to read about famous people and all the other famous people they hang out with.

Rosie will be here with all the latest tomorrow.

  1. We are very sad to hear the news about Chris. The Nicole Walters memoir sounds interesting and inspiring, indeed! I bet the Andy Warhol diaries will be a good read. I’ve read that he and his family really liked cats, and had many. On the Internet, I’ve seen many cat pictures he made. Never saw those, or heard about the cats he and his family had, when I was in school studying art and art history. Oh that pic of Dusty is cute! XO

  2. We were sorry to learn of another beloved pet earning their wings. So tragic and sad. We left some condolences. Enjoy that Warhol book. Bet it’s full of fabulous adventures by a gifted artist.

  3. Oh, love that kitty, so beautiful, and we can’t WAIT to hear about Andy’s life….mama knew Edie Sedgewick and sold dresses to her…another story….

  4. Dusty and you have an Eclectic collection of books this week. Glad you’re having fun reading them. We learn so many things about life out of a book even if it isn’t something that we will use ourselves.

  5. LOVE the way Dusty poses next to your books—so serious.
    Hugs,
    Mariette + Kitties

  6. It makes me sad to learn we have lost another furry friend. I offer my condolences to Bad Cat Chris’s family. I imagine the Andy Warhol book will be a good read. He was a prolific artist and loved cats.

  7. Charlee: “We did not know Bad Cat Chris, but we are always sad when a furry friend has to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Also we have a bad cat here even though it’s not part of his name. I will give you a hint. It’s Chaplin.”
    Chaplin: “Hey!”
Lulu: “Our Dada says he saw a couple of that Andy Warhol guy’s movies back in the day, one about Dracula and one about Frankenstein. He says one was okay and one was just kinda disturbing, but he doesn’t remember which was which.”
