Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. We are thankful to all who donated to our friend Toby’s dental as well as all who spread the word and are praying it goes well this Friday. If you donated and did not hear from me, please let me know in the comment section. I am hoping to get all the catnip toys and mats mailed out on Friday.
Prancie has her poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day, participants were asked to write a poem based on this photo:
Creativity is always fun
yet different for everyone.
Some turn a wall into a tree
that would not be me.
Someone may write a song,
that would take too long.
I like to destroy Daddy’s paper
that is my favorite kitty caper.
Prancie being creative
And here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two.
2. A house is not a home without ________________________.
You are a poet and you don’t know it!
Thank you 🙂
I like YOUR way of being creative, Prancie!
Thank you 🙂
MOL – you sound like Angelique Prancie!
MOL! 🙂
Love your poem, Prancie, they are very creative 😀 Extra Pawkisses 🙂 <3
Thank you. XO
Prancie I’m with you – tearing down is a lot more fun than building a wall for us kitties………the story of this photo is petty wonderful though – make sure and visit us today and read the story – we gave a link!! We’ll be filling in tomorrow!
Hugs, Teddy
Thank you. And we look forward to your answers tomorrow. XO
Ellen,
I’m thankful the low temps hasn’t come quite yet this morning and even at that it appears the original forecast of 16º is off by a few degrees. So, I’m always happier when it’s warmer than expected in the winter. 🙂
What creative artwork in that wall! It would marvelous to do something like that but that’s just not me. I might be able to sketch at best. I certainly can’t come up with a cute poem like you which is awesome. Sounds like Sammy is going to be in trouble for destroying Daddy’s papers, though. He should not have included that line and let Daddy try to figure out which of the 12 kitties did it. lol
Have a good day, my friend!
PS: I’ll had my responses to the fillins here.
1. My guiding word for 2018 is _I don’t have one_.
2. A house is not a home without _love_.
3. I look forward to _getting into a new home_ this year.
4. I really need to _get serious with exercising & dieting again_, because _I gained some weight over the holidays_. .
Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I hope you get your dream home this year. I think everyone gains weight at the holidays. XO

Really cute poem. Mom contributed to Toby’s dental, but you don’t need to send us anything. Thank you for your post for Lily Olivia yesterday. You are a good friend. Maybe Phoebe, Ellie and Lily can start their own Crotchety Cougar Club at the bridge. Lily was so proud of being the eldest member, and we know she is sorry she didn’t get to be in the group longer. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Thank you for helping Toby, that was kind of you. I bet our ladies are having a cougar club at the bridge. XO
