Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! Sammy and I thank you all for your purrs and prayers. We will let you know the test results as soon as we find out. He was all tuckered out from his  trip to the vet.

Brody complained that he wasn’t getting enough blog time. He sends his love to his sweet Leia.

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. We are thankful for all of you wonderful readers. I am also thankful that we are done with our leftovers.I don’t need to see turkey again until next Thanksgiving.

Prancie wrote a poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day, featuring the letter Y.

YES
Yes in the answer I like best
to life it adds zest !
Yes to more snacks and food
to say no would just be rude.
Yes to a warm lap
and yes to a cozy nap.
Want to visit the vet ?
a no is the answer you will get.

And here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two.

1. I can’t believe ______________________ is still sold.

2. I have ______________________ on Craigslist.

3. Going into December, the weather outside is                          .

  1. We’re still sendin’ purrayers. Get better soon Sammy. Da V E Ts ’round here don’t even talk ’bout treatin’ kitties, lest ya’ ask. And then it’s so costly. And like you, mommy hates the idea of monthly poisons. Brody be lookin’ adorable. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena

  2. We continue to send tons of prayers that everything is FINE with Sammy! Will be super anxious to hear. Brody must be so happy to be inside now that it’s getting really cold out. Same for Emmy – lucky kids indeed.

    Hugs, Teddy (and Mom)

  3. P.S. I forgot to tell you how PAWSOME your poem is today! YES is my favorite word…….now if I can just train my Mom to say it more often…..

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Still sending prayers to Sammy. Fingers crossed for a good report.
Haha… We are happy the Turkey Day leftovers are done, too! Had to go out for a good old CHEESEBURGER!
Yes to more snacks for sure!

  5. Oh no, I hope he is ok! Don’t feel like a bad cat mom–all of your cats are indoors, and it’s one of those things that doesn’t seem like it could ever happen.

  6. We’re still sending our purrs and prayers to Sammy! He sure looks warm and cozy napping there.

And we love your poem, Prancie! “Yes” is such a fantastic word to hear when you want treats, food, toys, a lap, some snuggles. But, no, not the V-E-T!

Happy Thursday to all of you!
