Hi everyone! I am a virgin at blogging so I hope I do this correctly.

Welcome to my new blog 15and meowing- kind of a cat version of 19 and Counting ( the show about the crazy people with 19 kids). I don’t think I am a crazy cat lady and I have a husband to prove it. This blog is about us and our 15 cats ( and a turtle).  We have been happily married for over 21 years.  When I was a kid I had a dog and lots of guinea pigs, but never a cat. David had an indoor/outdoor cat when we got married and that started it all. She lived to be 19, but became an indoor cat when she was about 17 and I saw her almost get hit by a car. I am now a believer in indoor only except with ferals then I believe in T-N-R.

I have decided to write this blog with the hope of making the world a better place for cats by discussing all kinds of issues from health and behavior.  When I first started out with cats, I was like a new mom that had to learn by trial and error and a lot of reading. I also want to bring awareness to great people and groups out there helping cats.  I want you to laugh a lot and maybe cry a little so please subscribe.

There will be some giveaways- at first they will be inexpensive like the crocheted cat toys I make, but I hope to do better ones. And if this ever generates any money, I will tithe monthly to a different rescue group.  If you have read this far- thank you. I encourage you to post your thoughts and suggestions.
