Hi everyone! I got an early Christmas gift when Chewy offered the Litter Genie for review this month to the first 25 reviewers. I have wanted one of these since they came out and have even given them as gifts, but never splurged on one for us.

With 13 cats, we do a lot of scooping every day. This is the usual sight in the bathroom- a plastic bag hanging to scoop into 
And this is the new improved sight. I love this thing, it even has a place for the scooper. All you do is scoop and toss into the Litter Genie then you pull a little handle that moves the bag so the scoopings are contained ( and odorless).
The Litter Genie is on sale for $17.99 this month with refills for $7.30. It comes with one cartridge which can last up to 2 months for one cat. And don’t forget that Chewy has free shipping on orders over $49.
Sammy was a little annoyed that he couldn’t eat this, but don’t worry, he liked the other product we received and will review tomorrow.

What a great review! My sister bought a litter genie for our litter room, and it sure is great. That being said, my furbabies are a bit annoyed with me, as I failed to see the Chewy newsletter until a week out, so we are still awaiting our products to review. (P.S. Thimble put on a little pole dancing show this weekend, and I managed to snap a couple shots of it. I’ll be emailing those to you today for Festivus! I hope it’s not too late.)

That looks a lot like the Litter Lockers we have! We have two Litter Lockers at the moment, and they are very convenient for our mom and dad.
I have never heard of those.
We have one and like it a lot. We want to get a second to put upstairs. We currently have the bag and scoop like you did.
I may get a 2nd one too.

They are only odorless when inside the Litter Genie, prior to that, hold your nose 🙂

I had to read this twice, to figure out what a Litter Genie was, ’cause I thought it was an automatic thingamybob! Having a odorless place to store scoopings make so much sense!
It is handy, I may get another for my other area with litterboxes.

Maybe someday. With 7 cats, i don’t know how long a cartridge would last, and whether that would be the most cost efficient way to go.
I will let you know how long it takes to go through a cartridge with all my cats.
We use Litter Genies at our house and swear by them. Although emptying them is another thing. 🙂
Uh-Oh, I haven’t had to empty one yet.
The mom has never thought about this, but now that she sees it, she thinks she could use a Litter Genie too.
She will love it.
