Friendly Fill-Ins Week 16

Hi everyone! It is time for Friendly Fill-Ins, it would be great if you could add your link top the hop. If you are too busy or don’t have a blog, please put your answers in the comments. We love getting to know everyone better. Our link never works so please add your link with our co-host, McGuffy’s Reader.

1. I wish ________________ would bring back ____________________.

2. An act of kindness that I do often is __________________________.

3.  I still have                           from my childhood.

4.  If I didn’t have___________________ , I’d be completely lost.

My answers:

  1. I wish WEAVER would bring back CHICKEN CROCQUETTES, I AM SURE THEY WERE UNHEALTHY, BUT THEY TASTED SO GOOD AND CAME WITH A YUMMY GRAVY.
  2. An act of kindness that I do often is GIVE COUPONS AWAY TO STRANGERS IN LINE AT CRAFT STORES AND MACY’S. I ALSO GIVE THEM OUT AT RESTAURANTS. I LOVE TO SEE PEOPLE’S REACTIONS, MOST ARE THANKFUL, BUT SOME ACT SCARED LIKE THEY THINK IT IS A SCAM.
  3. I still have STUFFED ANIMALS from my childhood.

Woofy, the dog is furless because I ate all his fur ( I was a strange toddler). The bear sucking her thumb was bought by my Gramma while she was in the hospital having surgery for a brain tumor. It brings tears to my eyes knowing how much she loved me to be thinking of me when she was so sick. I was 10 at the time and apparently had outgrown the fur eating.

4. If I didn’t have my HUBBY, MOM and KITTIES, I would be completely lost.

    1. Thank you. No, I really did eat the fur off him and several other stuffies plus I used to pull the string off washcloths and eat those too- my parents should have had me tested 🙂 I am thankful we are friends too. XO

  1. I would be lost without Bear Cat too. Most people assume that since he was homeless and hungry when we met, that I saved him … but he and I both know the truth … he’s saved me every single day for the past 10 years!

  2. Beautiful answers! Mom still has her furless teddy bear from childhood, too. Your granma sounds like a sweet and wonderful lady. We love granmas!!!!

  3. I love your answers! What a great idea, to give away coupons to strangers. Your answer to #4 is so perfect. I almost put something very similar for mine, but ended up going for something a little different. These were such great, fun fill-ins! Thank you so much for hosting this! We always look forward to it all week!

  4. Great Fill ins….you should post at Bacon’s site today (Pig Love) too since he’s having Show and Tell of things from your childhood. MOL that you ATE the fur!!!

    The Florida Furkids

    1. Thank you, I did end up adding it on there too. Yes, I ate the fur on many stuffies- strange kid.

  5. You ate the fur? Kids do some strange things at times. And then they quit doing those things at some point.

Have a fabulous day and weekend. 🙂

    1. I am glad I quit doing that although, it may be better than eating chocolate and chips 🙂

  6. The chicken croquettes do sound yummy! I love your idea of sharing coupons, I will have to remember to save the ones I don’t use and pass them along. What sweet memories you have connected to your stuffed toys! I agree that life would be terribly sad without our husbands and furkids. You are very blessed to have your mother still with you too. I miss my parents every day.

  7. Ellen, I’d be rather lost without my DH, too. I don’t know why I didn’t think to use that as my response. It looks like I think more of iPhone than him. lol Not really, though. DH is my world! Thanks for hosting the Friday fun!

    1. Everyone thinks of different answers, some are fun and some are serious 🙂 I know you love your hubby.

  8. aaww how beautiful! I love your fill-ins and your dolls my sweet. Mommy has one bear that she chewed some fur off too… maybe ya’ll were teething.. Yeah that was it, right? Snorts with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon

  9. I love your answers! I like to give coupons out, too – usually I’ll leave it perched on top of the item it goes to, so people will think the coupon fairy is real. 😉

I love your childhood stuffed animals! Especially the thumb sucking one. How sweet of your grandma to get that for you while *she* was the one going under the knife – bet it helped you not worry so much. 😉

    Thanks for the Friday fun!

    1. That is funny because she did get a Dominos pizza today for her and Dad, the piggies didn’t share with us-phooey! XO

  12. What precious treasures you have there with those toys. 🙂
I also think it is great that you share coupons with people. In this day and time, it is understandable that some folks would wonder what is up, but I think it is great that you do it anyway.

Thanks for co-hosting the fill-ins. We enjoy them very much. Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

    1. You’re welcome, I enjoy learning more about everyone each week.I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  13. Your grandmother sounds like a fabulous lady. And why would anyone argue with a coupon?

    1. She was very sweet. No one argues, but I get strange looks sometime and some don’t say thank you. Most are very thankful though.

  14. HAH! TW used to eat the tongues of all her stuffies. then choke on them.
    1. TW wishes Dunkin Donuts would bring back Oreo Coolatas.

    2. An act of kindness that TW does often is give coupons away and hold the elevator for people. Most people let it slam in your face.

    3. TW still has her baby spoon and fork and a Mary Poppins charm bracelet from her childhood.

    4. If she didn’t have ME, she’d be completely lost.

    1. Thank you for the answers 🙂 I love the coffee coolatas, but oreo sounds good too. I am glad TW gives out coupons and holds the elevator- that is very kind of her. I am sure she would be lost without you 🙂

  15. I love that you have your childhood stuffies too! Mine are looking a little Less in the fur department too… but I don’t think I actually ate them. LOL
I wouldn’t mind someone giving me something that saves me money! A great act of kindness.

  16. Ha-ha! I saved my stuffies just like you did:) I didn’t even read your answers furst! I also have some dolls and other toys.
You are right about the hubby…we would be lost too with out him, our pawppy and the petcretary’s hubby of 29 years.
