Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  I am thankful that we are pretty much done with my husband’s sister’s house and it is on the market. Fingers crossed it sells fast.

Also thankful that the pussy willows are in season. Spring is here.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. The longest I have been without electricity is ______________________.
2. I am so tired of waiting for _____________________.
3. I can’t believe I still remember _________.
4. I wish I could go back and experience _________ for the first time again.

  1. I am so glad you got that burdomsom task all done. Yes, I hope it sells fast so you can have one less thing to occupy your time and thoughts,
It was not quite as bad, but I remember the relief we had when hubby’s home form his youth was finally sold, and we didn’t have to travel the 600 miles to deal with it anymore. (around 2012)

  2. With all this Dreadful weather that we’ve had and you’ve got pussywillows already! Now I’m laughing because my phone didn’t want to use the name of the plant! Hope the house does sell quick you’ve spent so much time working on it I’m sure it is spotless and ready to go.

  3. Charlee: “That’s great news, we send lots of purrs that the house sells quickly. Go bidding war!”
Oona: “That pile of pussy willows looks like the perfect place to hide. In fact, Oona may be hiding in it right now, like a ninja. NO ONE WOULD EVER KNOW.”

  4. As we are selling my mother’s condo, I know the feeling!
Our pussywillows aren’t as robust yet, but seeing yours makes me feel like spring could just maybe be here.

  5. Ellen, the best news to hear that you are out from under the demanding task of cleaning out the house. I don’t know how you did that and everything else you had to do at your home and with family. I guess we all do what we have to do but you and your hubby must be exhausted. So, very good news and crossing my fingers and praying that the house sells quickly. Good to hear that the pussy willows are in season! Fun that you included a photo!

  6. Great news about the house! I know you’re relieved. I love pussy willows too.

  7. I do hope the house sells fast! Pussy Willows! I wish I could get to where they grow around here, I shall have to see if my son will trek there for me! I’m sure looking forward for Spring to finally come. We have been having a mild(ish) winter but warmer would be wonderful! Keep being AWESOME! Barb

  8. I am praying the house sells quickly and for a good amount. You’ve done an excellent job working so hard on it.

  9. Yay on getting the house ready to sell. Here’s hoping it goes quickly! We’ve got our paws crossed.

Those pussy willows are fabulous looking. Always loved those fuzzy buds.
