Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! I am exhausted. It has been a busy week of hiding for me.

This is my new safety zone between the wall and Mom’s side of the bed.

Last Thursday, Mom had a friend over with her daughter and 10 yr old granddaughter and they all made fairy gardens. They spotted adorable me and wanted to pet me so I ran and hid. Friday and Dusty let them pet them.

And then Monday the girls were here all day. Mom got a small video camera and this thing:

She wants to get them interested in acting and the behind the scenes stuff. They love to watch youtube videos and they love to make slime so my mom made some videos of them doing a slime challenge and the girls wanted you all to choose who made the best slime. The videos are only going to be public for one day then they will be private for their protection, but if you get a chance to watch them please let us know whose slime you think is best. I am putting a link to the first part, but there are 4 parts because she is just learning how to use the camera so she kept stopping it.

Last week it was too windy for a lemonade stand and today it was 98 degrees so it was too hot. They are hoping to have one on Thursday. And Typhoid Mary made a bunch of different colored slimes and is going to sell that too.

And the winner of the Patriotic t-shirt is Manny of Eastside Cats, actually, the only one willing to wear it.

Penny will be here next week with her money saving tips for you.

  1. Rosie, that looks like a great hiding spot!
Wow, those girls are growing up!! They would have a lot of fun kneading bread dough, some of the things they did to their slime resembles the way you make/knead bread, LOL! We thought the blue slime better did the things that she wanted it tol

  2. WOW, we would certainly buy some slime if only to compete with snails sometimes, haha, Those little girls are SOOOO creative, not to mention their auntie…And wow, 98!!!! Shades of mama’s childhood. Maybe shades isn’t the word, haha. Thanks for a great video. Mama wants to do some instagram cooking but doesn’t know how to put the iPhone to film properly. Love some suggestions.

  3. Well, now ~ two superstars in the making, and one director extraordinaire! BUT: super slime, remembering “that stuff” with our own kids and grands … yuk yuk! Miss Ellen, you are a far braver woman than I. Did you hire Merry Maids for the after-clean-up???

  4. Rosie, it seems you found a great place to hide, and the video was too cute. Such pretty girls and superstars in the making.

The girls really are beautiful— and they are fun to watch in their creative times! I always had boys so this lets me have the fun of having a girl (s) around when they get creative!
