Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! I am still enjoying the calm before the storm which is coming in a couple weeks.

The boy was here for a while today, but he didn’t bother me. Rusty loves him and was rubbing up to him and head butting him. Rusty is a weirdo.

Typhoid Mary turned 7 on Saturday. Mom, Dad and Grammie went to her party on Sunday ( the kid party was Saturday).

There were 2 cakes because Typhoid Mary’s mom’s birthday was on Sunday. 2 cakes and no one brought me a piece.

She has been wanting a bunk bed with desk under it and a Taylor Swift themed room so her parents surprised her with it last week. One of the gifts mom gave her was this wall art. She also had a canvas made of a photo of her and Joanie from when Typhoid Mary was 3.

And this is the bed/desk.

Little Lola went to the party. She got batted around by The Great One’s Cat then The Boy tried to eat her. She does not want to go to anymore parties.  As you can see, Lola is itty bitty. Mom does her voice or “talks her” as Typhoid Mary calls it.

Dusty’s eye is looking better. Poor Penny doesn’t know it, but mom is going to slip her a mickey on Thursday morning and bring her in for a recheck to see if her meds are working. The soonest appointment for Friday’s dental was 6/30 so she doesn’t have to worry yet. I am getting nervous that I will have an appointment soon too.

For now though, I will enjoy the peace and quiet. School gets out next Wednesday and my peace and quiet will end next Friday. Drat!

  2. It’s a hard knock life, Rosie. Weird siblings and no cake but that Tayler Swift bedroom is just amazing and Typhoid Mary”s Happy Dance is worth every nickel. Sometimes our www comes up automatically and sometimes it doesn’t…just sayin’.

  3. My goodness rosie, that’s been a lot of stuff happening at your house or at typhoid Mary’s house. We love seeing Lola it look like she had a huge bookcase in miniature. We wish Penny the best going to the doctor.

  11. It’s so very nice that Rusty loves The Boy♥
The bed/desk is awesome! TM has a great room. I loved my bedroom. It wasn’t anything special but I loved to go there and be by myself with the radio and my horse stuff.
Rosie, it’s good to read how Dusty is doing better and Penny is going to get her recheck. I think for now it is good to enjoy your peace and quiet. Poor Lola! She is tiny and somebody needs to watch out for her. Maybe Gremmie could watch over Lola? But then who would watch over Gremmie?

    1. Yes it is. 🙂 I loved my room too. I shared with my sister, but she was 8 yrs older so it was all mine when I was 10. Thank you. 🙂 Good idea about Gremmie. XO

  12. Happy birthdays to all!!! Typhoid Mary is a lucky girl to get such a lovely bedroom. Hope dusty’s eye continues to improve and Penny’s tests go well.

  13. That’s quite the amazing birthday surprise. LOVE the new bunk bed set up and cat poster.

  14. With so much news, it sounds like the peace and quiet is already over.

Meanwhile, though, you might want to learn to like children, they are getting older and know not to hurt you, after all.

  15. That is a great update. A lot happening this month. I like the desk and bunk bed and the wall art is cute.

  16. Charlee: “Enjoy the quiet while it lasts, Rosie! And I don’t know what is up with Rusty and The Boy. Some cats are just extroverts I guess.”
Chaplin: “Not all of us hide under the sofa when people are around.”
Charlee: “That’s because some of us haven’t got a lick of sense.”
Oona: “Little Lola certainly is smol. She may be even smoller than Oona. No one has ever tried to eat Oona, anyway.”
Charlee: “Stay alert, Rosie. If you know Penny is going to get slipped a mickey but Penny doesn’t know, then maybe somebody knows you are going to get slipped a mickey but you don’t know!”
