Hi everyone! Did you miss me last week?
I have lots to tell you. I have been playing cribbage with my folks. Dad wanted me to help him win so I got on the board and it changed the luck- he won. Trouble told me the pegs are tasty, so I decided to try mom’s blue one. It did not taste good. I let dad take it out of my mouth. Maybe I will try a red one.
Mom has been cleaning out the spare room and rearranging it. I heard talk of the girls having sleep overs here this summer. NOOOOOOO!!! Anyone want an adorable kitty to spend the summer with them? That is now a cat free zone like the dining room.
Penny had her annual appointment for her rabies shot and exam last week. Mom slipped her a mickey a couple hours before because she wanted her to get senior blood work. Well, Penny did not feel she needed the blood work, so she fought off the vet and two techs. They couldn’t even trim her claws. They did manage to give her the shot though. Dad was happy because she saved him hundreds of dollars.
Next week is Brody’s turn. He needs his blood pressure taken too. I wonder where they take it to?
This Friday is a half day so the girls will be here. So, I best scope 0ut a new hiding spot because they know all my usual ones. See you next week.
nice booty shot!!!!
Gidget…you are a caution!! XX
Thank you. Mom says I have a J Lo booty, whatever that is. XO
Wow, eating blue pegs…
And Penny fighting off the vet and two techs—a fierce girl.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
She is fierce. XO
Wow, Penny is a feisty gal!!
We hope Brody’sBP will be good.
Thanks for all the gossip and mews, Rosie!!
See if you can open a kitchen cabinet to hide in…our first kitty (Groucho) could open them up…that is until petcretary applied locks to keep the toddlers out of them.
Yes, she is. Thank you. No locks on ours, I open them all the time. XO
Yikes Rosey, sounds like you’re chomping away on some unappetizing stuff, there! Wow, Penny is one feisty and ferocious girl! XO
I don’t know why Trouble says they are tasty. Yes, Penny can be mean to me too. XO
OH, WOW, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST GABFESTS EVER! Where do they take your blood pressure, indeed!!!! So funny. And cribbage candies probably should be left alone, you sweet kitty. As for the darlings doing sleepovers, a little jump on their tummies in the middle of the night should discourage any animosity toward you…heh heh.
Thank you. I jump on mom’s tummy all the time. 🙂 XO
Rosie you are a funny girl. I’m not sure the red peg will taste any better. You will just have to make some kind of special plans while those girls are there having sleepovers. You tell Brody we’re going to be wondering how his trip to the doctor turns out. Precious sends her purrs.
Brody thanks you and sends his love. XO
Penny sounds like she can be ferocious! Good luck finding a good hiding spot.
Thank you. XO
Wow! Isn’t Penny the feisty one? Thank you for the gossip and news, Rosie. Btw, those pegs aren’t good for you so best leave them alone.
Yes, she is. You’re welcome. XO
Boy, Me, Katie, knows how to do the v-e-t too! Penny, let’s text! Exchange ideas.
Penny would love to give you tips. XO
Rosie OMCs sleepovers are da best……IF you are somewhere else. I recall many of them when Sis of angel Madi was little. I tell you one thing little girls can break the sound barrier. You might need some earplugs
Hugs cecilia
I know they can break the sound barrier- just the 2 of them do every time they are here. XO
I bet a sleepover will be fun! For the girls anyway.
Yes, I guess. XO

Thanks for the reminder. Yes, mom has been blogging 10 whole years. XO
Sleepovers sound like fun for the kids but not for kitties.
Exactly. 🙂 XO
Rosie ~ good to see you sweet one ~ hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Thank you. XO
Yes I missed you last week. You’re always missed when you’re not around.
Oh no on the girls staying over this summer. Maybe you can make friends and it will go better.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥
Thank you. They have cats at home so no need to play with me. 🙂 XO
Gosh, Penny…you look so sweet and innocent. Who knew you were a tiger?
She is. 🙂
If the girls just sat in the room with you and let you come to them, would that help? Especially if they didn’t try to pet you, just let you sniff them. I’ve noticed shy cats like to do it that way, and when they are ready, they will touch the person as long as the person keeps hands away at first.
I hope Brody cooperates better than Penny did.
That might help, but just forget I am here would be better. XO
Another great report, Rosie. Lots of news. Nice to see you back this week.
Thank you. XO
Rosie, we think you should leave those pegs to Mom and Dad and find something else to chew on. Give the girls a chance – we bet it will be fun to have them there for sleepovers. We miss our grands being little – they used to sleep over a lot. PennyWas pretty smart, wasn’t she? HOpe the tests she missed would have all turned out fine.
Woo – Misty and Timber
Thank you. I don’t know about the sleepovers. XO
I hope Brody isn’t taking vet fighting lessons before his visit.
I hope he is not too. 🙂
Rosie you better leave those pegs alone. We do not want you to need a surgery to remove them! I am happy you were very good and let your dad take it out of your mouth. It seems like everyone is getting their check ups. It is always something when we have our babies to tend to. Have a wonderful week and thanks for the updates!
Thank you. Hope you have a nice week too. XO
I am not sure my comments will post. I keep getting a message saying duplicate comment but nothing appears. I will send your mom an email. Enjoy this week.
They post – sorry they don’t show up right away. XO
Hope you found a good hiding spot. I don’t think the red peg will taste any better than the blue. Best to stick to kitty treats. I hope Brody’s vet visit goes better than Penny’s. Thanks for the update Rosie!
You’re welcome. 🙂 XO
That sleep over could be fun but I know you’ll find it to be scary! That was some Vet visit, yikes!
Yes, very scary. I would rather go to the vet than do a sleepover. 🙂
You could come hang out with us! LOL, that’s one way to save some money!
Good idea. 🙂
Chaplin: “We can never remember, is it the red peg that reveals the reality of the Matrix or is it the blue peg?”
Oona: “They are not pegs. They are pills. And it is the red one.”
Chaplin: “How would you know? You’re just a baby.”
Oona: “OONA KNOWS BECAUSE OONA IS A NINJA!!!”
Charlee: “That was some pretty impressive work Penny did at the vet. Does she hire out her services? I would like her to come and protect me the next time I have to go. And I sure hope you find a good hiding place, Rosie!”
Oona knows everything. 🙂 Penny would love to help you at the vet Charlee. XO
Rosie, you were missed. Your gabfests always make me feel like I have some inside information. Who knew that Penny is so fierce? She wasn’t having none of her blood taken. I can’t help but wonder how they gave her the shot. They must have had somebody super sly and quick. Brody needs to be brave… somebody always wanting to take my BP too. Hmmm, the girls doing sleepovers. That is going to make for some interesting gabfest posts!
She is fierce. They wrapped her in a towel, covering her head and gave her the shot on the back end. XO
Wow. Penny is an example to all cats!
A bad example. 🙂
