Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Elvira and Friday are thankful for all the gotcha day wishes yesterday. And I thank you all for the continued purrs and prayers for Elvira.

Lola is thankful that Typhoid Mary reworked the garage I made into a carport so she can get her car out now.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

If this were in NYC, everyone would scream and run
even though the bear is calm and having fun.
The polar bear is just heading home
this is Alaska, and he lives in Nome.
Today is V day on The A-Z Blogging Challenge. V is for The Virgin Mary. I know I showed this photo already, sorry.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Ahaha funny poem and it really suits the mood of the picture, where the bear looks completely relaxed and in his regular daily routine! XO

  2. Oh, sweet Elvira, we hope you feel better on your gotcha day and we are sending you healing thoughts.

  3. No matter what time of the year, seeing nativity scene strikes my heart with love. So glad the garage got worked out for the card to get in and out.

  4. Charlee: “Zoom zoom, Lola!”
Java Bean: “Ayyy, sí, it’s good to be able to get the car out of the garage. Otherwise you have to walk to the park.”
Chaplin: “Wow, polar bears have got big feet!”

  5. Typhoid Mary did a great job with the garage. And we loved your poem. We need to get to Nome and see those polar bears riding the train:)

  6. Great job on the garage, Typhoid Mary. I know Lola is grateful. I want to do the fill-ins but I don’t think many would enjoy my answers for two of them, so I’ll pass this time.
